Landrum Depot — Attraction in Landrum

The Landrum Historic Depot is a well preserved, renovated train depot right in downtown Landrum, which is also a sweet little town. These days, the depot is just an event venue, but it's quite nice inside with room for a good sized party. When we visited it was set up for a baby shower and it looked lovely. We were disappointed that the interior is not a museum as most historic depots are, but there is another train car outside, with a nice modern stairway up to it, and one can see inside that they are in the process of making some kind of museum setup inside. There are large photo signs like you see in most historical place museums, leaning against a wall. This Place is Absolutely the BEST... If I could give them 10 Stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I Would.. My Daughter just got Married and had her Reception there.. They Have Tables, Chairs, Speakers, A Full Size Kitchen, Anything you could ask For, The Perfect Size.. And For $400 from morning till 11pm You can't Beat it.. It's Very Clean, " One thing I'm very Paticular about..." You Can Not Go Wrong Renting this Place.....

This venue was beautiful! However if you are a non-resident to landrum they will treat you different. There is a major lack of communication as to when to pick up keys (not listed on the website), no confirmation emails or calls, and failure to run this venue properly. As someone who used this venue and lives an hour away I ran into multiple issues...
