Absolute Gallery — Attraction in Lansing

I read great reviews so decided to take an original piece of art to get framed. The owner was very helpful and personable and I left the art with her to be matted and framed and was told it would take about 2 weeks. 3 weeks later I called to see if the art was ready and was told that she was going to do it that weekend. I informed her that my sister was coming to visit the next weekend so was making sure the art would be done. It wasn’t and she did not awnser the phone or call me. I called the weekend after that and was told she still did not have the frame in. I waited 2 more weeks with absolutely no communication from the owner throughout this whole process. Amazing! I showed up with a number of pieces and random frames from my grandparents’ house. We went through each one choosing the mat colors and frame that would suit the piece. All of the colors were beautiful and unique not to mention, looked much better than I ever would’ve come up with. At this point, I roll in and tell them to do their magic because I trust their ideas more than my own.

I used Absolute Gallery to do a framing project recently. I found the price to be about half what other framing galleries were going to charge, and actually less than going to JoAnnes/Michael's with their 60% sale! Her selection there is excellent, and she has a good eye for what would look nice on a piece. She listened to what I was wanting and was friendly through the whole process (despite me being very picky).
