I visited the market for the very first time the other day and had a wonderful time walking around and chatting with some of the vendors. We enjoyed a few lovely conversations that lasted more than five minutes each. However, our experience took a turn around 1:45/1:50 when a woman made an announcement over the loudspeaker.
Unfortunately, the tone of the announcement was so aggressive that it completely soured our mood. At that point, we hadn't even made it to the second half of the vendors since we had just arrived around 1:20. It was disheartening to hear such a harsh message directed at the vendors while shoppers were still browsing.
I believe there could have been a much better way to handle the situation, such as sending a group message or contacting the vendors individually who were packing up early. Making such an announcement over the loudspeaker felt uncomfortable and unprofessional, and it ultimately drove us away from wanting to shop any longer.
