When my girlfriend and me saw this restaurant, we said about dam time Lapeer gets some different food and were not surprised the Slider Joint went bankrupt. We had the curry chicken, kow pad, shrimp pineapple thai fried rice, chicken garlic fried rice and hot/sour soup. Everything tasted great with tons of authentic flavors and had the specified spicy levels. Congratulations to the success this restaurant will have for making great food! As long as they keep it up, they will have to hire more people to handle the demand and maybe in the future they will move to a bigger building in Lapeer. 5/5 made a regular out of me.

This place is terrible, food tastes like it was store-bought frozen dinners. Served as if it was sitting for a few days before it was reheated just for you. I can’t tell you where the flavor comes from but it’s not the food. Also, I tried the eggroll It was super hard to chew and the chicken, I’m pretty sure The chicken is sweetened because it is smothered in ketchup . All in all Yuck! I won’t be going back. But don’t take my word for it. Try it for yourself. It’s just not for me.

Everything ordered was tasty! The wait was long due to just one cook, but they just opened and that will work itself out soon enough. High prices in comparison to the portions provided. Pad Pak was $14.95 and it was much more like a lighter lunch portion. It was really good though! Spring rolls were $4.50 and good. The soups were also pricey for the amount. I get there has been some inflation, but still a bit lofty for the portions. Other than that, we would return.

We were excited to finally have Thai locally. We always had it when we lived in the city where you could easily find it anywhere. Now, mind you, they got slammed when they opened & I don't think they were prepared for the demand. We called an order in, and we were told 30 minutes. Got there to pick it up, and it suddenly changed to an additional hour wait. We said forget it. We decided to try one more time, and finally, it worked out. Brought it home. I had the Pad See Ew. It was blah. It's not the usual sweet sauce that we've been used to getting from our other Thai places. We tried egg rolls as well, and they were still cold inside. Unfortunately, it was a big waste of money. The staff was friendly, even through all the chaos, but that's the only thing they seem to have going...

I have tried A LOT of Thai restaurants all over metro-detroit. To my surprise, this was probably one of the best I've had! We placed lunch orders today and tried the required Pad Thai as well as the Bangkok chicken. Both were fantastic.

Almost all Thai places just use generic cayenne pepper to change the spice level. This doesn't really add the flavor, instead just adds heat. I believe they do something differently here, maybe using real hot pepper puree? Not sure, but whatever it is added to the already great flavor and quality of the food. I'm really impressed with this place!

FYI, they are new and have been slammed. Everyone in there was working hard to get orders out. Im sure things will smooth out in time. Just be patient, the food is...

Honestly, this place is amazing and this is coming ftom very picky eaters, who don't care for much else in town! Food is super tasty and if you want quality food the wait is well worth it!!! We have been three times already and getting it again for takeout tomorrow night. While the wait time is quite long during the dinner rush, it has already improved greatly. We just call ahead of time so it's ready when we want it. I would suggest ordering an hour ahead during the dinner rush. Patience may be needed but this is so authentic and tasty!! Not to mention one meal can easily feed you two times, so bonus, I don't have to cook the next...
