I'm constantly crossing between Mexico and the USA (visiting elder and ill family members). Lines are usually VEEEEEERY long and agents are rude. I once mentioned to a US agent that the lines were very long and that I had been waiting for 3 hours. He simply said that if I didn't like it I should go somewhere else. JERK!!! On another occasion I wanted to use the restroom after also waiting a couple of hours in line. One of the agents took my passport while I did my business and when I came back he was gone. I waited another 10 minutes in the sun for him to come back because "... the shaded area was for agent only". When he came back he didn't even apologize and nobody seemed to be interested in assisting me. Anyway, I've been crossing the border using Bridge 2 for decades and I could easily say that 8 out of 10 times my experience has been unpleasant. It was horrible experience to go to Mexico from here. No a single person speak English on Mexico side. No information for tourist. Were stoped and asked to show pass, we asked what pass? No one know English and after showing car papers they let us go. After 30 min drive were stoped in another checkpoint & asked again for pass, me one speed English, after google translation were told to go back to border bridge to get vehicle pass by paying $28 for 2 persons. We went back & spent 2 hours in horrible traffic to cross back to USA side and thanked our great USA, we so blessed to live in USA. Never again. I went on. The airport. And i got my permit by air. And when i come by land. The mexican immagration said my permit by air. Wasnt valid. They charhe me 45 $ when when i flew i paid. O. Dollars. Then i call. And double check and yes. You can use your permit. From. Your flighr dont yall fall for. This. They are. Stealing your money. Take. A printed paper. Its your permit ia valid.
