Salon No 3 — Attraction in Las Cruces

Came in for a pedicure (gel) wasn’t done properly . When I called I was told by the owner that the excess would come off in the shower . I don’t understand why I would have to wait for the excess to come off ? Why was it there in the first place . When I explained my dissatisfaction to the owner and that I would like to get a refund as I would no longer be going back being that this wasn’t the first time there had been a mess up. I was told that there was nothing that could really be done as she had no control over her workers because they are independent contractors. I never said anything the first time because I understand that mistakes are made but, it wasn’t the first time . The get started to peel about a week later

I find it hilarious that when the matter was trying to be resolved privately you wanted to brush me off and now that I have written my review you decide that you "would love to win me back " . She offered me a discount for the next service. But as I explained to you before you put her on the phone I no longer wished to come to your business to be serviced

I was talking to a friend about places I would refer her to go for salon services (haircuts ) and did fore warn them that while doing their research they would find my negative review and was then made aware my review wasn’t there . It was sitting in a draft so I decided to publish it . I’m sorry that your recollection of the events seems to be different but rest assured your response to the events solidified my need to not come back . Went in for a haircut on Saturday at 9:45. I had called and asked if anyone would be available for me to go in and get a haircut, the lady who answered said yes the earlier i came in the better, I came in with my sister who also got a haircut. This is the place I have gone before to get my haircuts and I have always been happy until yesterday. :( As soon as I walked in and sat in the chair the hairdresser was being rude. Making rude comments which I didn’t appreciate. I was looking forward to this haircut and it became an unpleasant experience. I sat there quietly waiting for it be done. I had gone in for a trim and I wanted bangs which I have had before I wanted them covering my eyebrows, under my eyebrows and as soon as she cut I knew they were too short. Even when I iron them they do not cover my eyebrows like I wanted. I came out with my hair being uneven, one side longer than the other, and a piece of hair that’s just longer than the rest of the hair. I will be going somewhere else to get it fixed and I know my hair will grow out but just leaving and paying for a haircut that I have to hide until I get fixed made me very sad. Just the whole experience brought down my mood and that’s not what people look for when they go in. The last time I went in I had a great experience and it was with a different hair dresser. On 2/15/25 I booked a long haircut, wash, dry and style with Sandy. I was happy to get a same day appointment but this was the worst experience I’ve ever had. My hair was down to my bottom before and I wanted to cut about 3-4 inches off to remove the dead. She showed me how much hair she’d be taking off and we agreed. However she took off way more than we discussed and made my hair so much shorter than I wanted. I never wanted layers and she went ahead and added horrible layers anyways. I came into the salon and was seated in her chair. She started to cut it dry which I thought was weird since I booked a wash and style. During the haircut I kept commenting how short it was and she just kept agreeing saying “it’s okay because now it will grow.” I was upset the entire time and when she finished I commented again that it was way shorter than she initially showed me it would be. Then after the dry cut she tried to get me to pay and leave and reminded her I booked a wash and styled. She seemed awkward at this point and it was obvious she wasn’t of sound mind. Anyway she washed my hair and finished the service and I left. I hate my hair. Today was the first time I straightened it and you can see clear as day how horrible it was cut.
