In January we moved back to Sapello in our RV. Eventually the water filter in our GE refrigerator needed replacing. We bought a high quality filter that claimed compatability with our GE refrigerator, but it didn't release the filtered water or ice. We then purchased a guaranteed GE filter and it still didn't work.
My wife and I were getting frustrated and we called Price's to see what could be done. The answer was they would call us the next week. Two weeks went by and no word from Prices. My wife called and talked to Clyde the Service man who said their weren't enough calls going to Mora to justify the trip. She mentioned that we live in Sapello and not Mora. Clyde said it didn't matter, there had to be enough calls to going to Mora. We were making payments on an expensive appliance that was not doing its job on top of having to purchase filtered water and ice and transport it home to put in the appliance that was supposerd to provide them in the first place. My wife asked Clyde to have Jess Price, the tjhird generation Price to run the store call us which he did not do. After another week with no call back, we decided to walk in and see what the issue was. I explained to Phillip at the counter, that GE Appliances was sold to a Chinese company in 2017 and that company was unreachable. However, we could give our credit card number to the official GE site and ask a question with no guarantee of receiving a credible answer. As far as I could tell, we were the only customers in the store. While I was explaining all this to Phillip, Jess Price was leaning against a cabinet behind the counter texting on his phone, but listening to the conversation. My wife watched him as he would periodically look up at us while we were talking, smirk, roll his eyes and then go back to texting or playing a game, she wasn't sure which. My wife was quite offended at his arrogant approach to a clearly unhappy customer. Jess Price approached the counter near us. He took a confrontational stance saying this had to stop as we were causing a scene or something. Jess Price actually had the nerve to tell me that I was berating him when all I had done was talk about the poor policies China has concerning customers who buy their poor quality GE appliances. I told Jess Price that I was sorry he felt I was berating him. Obviously this manager hadn't been to sensitivity training. I tried to get some understanding from him by letting him know our house burned down in the Hermit's Peak Calf Canyon fire thinking that he might be a little more understanding at having to deal with the additional hassal of making payments on a $2000.00 dollar water and ice despensor that wasn't working. His . empathetic response was, " I DIDN'T LIGHT THE MATCH!" I was tempted to pull his smug face over the counter and teach him some respect for his elders, but it wasn't worth the trouble it would have caused me. Over the years, my wife and I have been loyal customers to Price's Home Furnishings. We had anticipated remaining so when it was time to replace all of our furnishings lost in the fire with Price's products. That ship sailed to China with Jess Price's...

Jess has maintained the same integrity that his grandparents and his father always had when it came to their business. They treat you like your family they care about what you want and what you need. They are honest and they donāt push anything on you. They Listen to what your needs are and are informative. Theyāre very knowledgeable about everything that they sell. I could not imagine doing business with anybody else. I feel safe doing business with them. I can always contact them if I have any questions or concerns. Try contacting a big box store. No one will know you had a big box store and no one will care about your needs or concerns or a problem. You may be experiencing with something that youāve purchased.
