This escape room is a bit disappointing. The "live actor" will be my first bit of critisism. We were told that we would be interacting with a live actor in the room who would be in the role of a mute Butler. I had no idea this guy was a butler or actor at all as he wasn't wearing any costume, just a zip up hoodie. My friend asked to use the restroom serveral times and he was ignored each time even when we were asking in front of it. He didn't act he just silently loomed and pointed. At one point we had made the mistake of putting a key down a hole it wasn't supposed to go down. (I'm sure it happens all the time as he had a tool to grab it.) While the employee fished out the key for us he wasn't acting he was just huffing at us, sighing, talking under his breath and being rude. As someone who has been an actor in an escape room before, I can tell the difference between acting scary and being visably upset with customers for making a mistake. Next bit of criticism was the puzzles themselves. The puzzels felt repetitive and not very orignal or creative. I saw a lot of puzzels I've seen in other escape rooms in vegas and I wasn't impressed. The atmosphere is creepy but I wouldn't say this escape room is very memerable for actually being spooky. There's maybe two jump scares but for the most part its tame. Even kids could handle the scares in this room. The scares that they do have are cheap and not very technilogically advanced. A screen behind a mirror of a woman screaming is the most advanced tech they have. I feel like this escape room took a lot of inspiration from some of the escape rooms around town but failed to follow through on the production value. Would be happy to change my review and come back if they change these things. If not I have to say this escape experience may not be worth your time if you have limited time on your...

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Unforgettable Escape Room Experience!

The Third Gate Hotel escape room was absolutely phenomenal! From the moment we stepped inside, we were fully immersed in a chilling and thrilling atmosphere that felt like something straight out of a horror movie. The set design was top-notch, with eerie lighting, authentic props, and an attention to detail that made every room feel incredibly real.

The puzzles were challenging but logical, keeping us on our toes the entire time. We loved how the clues and mechanics were seamlessly tied into the storyline, making us feel like we were truly part of a haunted hotel mystery. The game masters were also fantastic—super engaging, helpful when needed, and they really enhanced the experience with their in-character interactions.

If you’re looking for an escape room that blends spine-tingling suspense, clever puzzles, and movie-quality production, The Third Gate Hotel is a must-visit. We had a blast and can’t wait to return for another adventure!

There are so many wonderful things I can say about this escape room. First of all, the escape room itself is awesome. It's clearly thought out, it's fun, I definitely screamed out loud more than once but wasn't so scared I didn't want to do it anymore. Secondly, our Butler Mia did a fantastic job. Not only a great Butler, but in general a wonderful hostess. Having nothing to do with the escape room, I accidentally left some personal property behind. I knew I wouldn't be able to pick it up when a game was going on but I showed up a little bit before the game would be ending and she brought it out to me the next day in the parking lot! I thought I would have to wait almost 20 minutes, and was prepared to do so, but she saw me there and brought it out! I can't give enough praise to Mia as a butler and a person! There is a reason they are called the number one escape room! Also shout out to Owen who helped me get in touch and get my property back! They made everything so much easier than I thought it would be....

We had an absolute blast at Third Gate Escape Room! After visiting their original location and conquering Black Cat #1 escape room, we earned a bonus puzzle that gave us a 50% discount for this full house escape—and it was worth every second. Despite starting 10 minutes late due to traffic, my partner and I managed to finish with just 30 seconds to spare, using only three hints along the way. Our butler, Mya, was amazing—she was super helpful with the hints, guiding us without even using words. The setup was perfect for a team as cohesive as we are, with challenging yet fair puzzles in every room. The cherry on top? We found the bonus puzzle at the end, scoring us another 50% discount! We’re heading back to Black Cat tonight to dominate the Witch’s House, and we couldn’t be more excited. Highly recommend Third Gate for a thrilling and rewarding escape room experience!

We did it! And by that I mean we failed! One of the few (if only) escape rooms that allows up to 10 people. The atmospherics were amazing and the helper stayed in character. The puzzles are more advanced so I'd say this is harder than most. It is a little bit gruesome so if you absolutely can't handle horror I'd skip. Otherwise it adds to the experience. There is nothing else in the complex but if you are coming from the strip, you could stop over in Chinatown or divert to Fremont.
