This is a nice little park that serves as a staging area for the numerous trails that lead out of this park.
The double sided half circle parking area offers plenty of space for the size of the park. The restrooms are right by the parking area which is convenient and offers safety as it's located in a high traffic area. The children's jungle gym playground area looks brand new. The water playground area is a hit for the kids when the Vegas heat hits. There's numerous shaded areas to hang around and enjoy the area. The grass fields are spacious and are super dog friendly.
Towards the back of the park, you'll find the pathway that leads to the trails in the nearby mountains. The trails linger on the base of the mountain as well as the mountain itself. The park is loaded with residents in the area enjoying the park. I don't live in the area as my visit was to go hike down the local trails.
