It is not big and the tour is relatively short, but learning about Peter Mott and the Lawnside community who risk their lives saving victims from our greatest failure as a nation from the great people who keep this house alive was very enriching.

Sometime we can read a history book about something important in a faraway place. But every once in a while something that's important right in your neighborhood. It's amazing that a man stole away from slavery and found freedom in Lawnside New Jersey build a home and Business. We are very blessed to have saved this part of history for the future. Be great if we could just find and repair his gravesite. If you get a chance I'm sure you will see...
