Newtown Park — Attraction in Lawrenceburg Township

Great fields. Bleachers are great and plenty of seating for everyone that some parks don’t have enough of. I also learned once don’t park in the soccer parking lot area. I parked at the soccer field parking lot once because there wasn’t enough parking area by the baseball diamonds warning don’t do it you could stuck walking a very very very long distance around the whole park to get to your vehicle because that side of the park locks down and you can’t get to your vehicle So I learned from experience. Heavily shaded by large trees so its nice in the summer. Many walkways and benches with a central fountain. Home of the Fall arts and crafts show, holiday ice rink from Thanksgiving to New Years and other events. Nice place to visit. Also home to four Pokestops and a Pokemon Gym for Pokemon...

Nice park, looks well maintained with beautiful old trees. Not enough parking for events but what park does. Side note for history lovers; there is an old cannon and wagon onsite within a small glass building....
