It's a new restaurant, so I forgive things like slow service when they are slammed with customers. It's a fantastic concept, but our experience for breakfast didn't end with us making plans for our next visit. The first thing that jumped out to me was that when we were seated at the counter, there was no room for a server behind the counter. This was not well thought out. When the counter is full, the servers have a hard time taking orders without squeezing between customers or blocking the aisle. Don't think there is any way to fix this now. My wife ordered the build your own omelet, which works great for her food sensitivities. But after ordering no cheese, the omelet came with cheese and had to be sent back. Since we were seated at the counter, the cook told her he was excited and was just in a routine, putting cheese on all the omelets. So the second omelet didn't have cheese, but it was missing the bacon she had ordered. She was happy to have an omelet with no cheese and said the vegetables were very flavorful. She also liked the variety of fruit she received as her side. I ordered the sampler, which is a strange name for a standard breakfast. Eggs, potatoes, meat, and toast. My issues are with the chef's choice to serve only Texas toast and, basically, french fries as a breakfast potato. I don't think of a diner serving fast food. But the potatoes I received could easily have been picked up at a carryout window. It's disappointing at best. Slice some fresh potatoes and onions and cook up some good home fries. Then I'll come back for breakfast. The eggs were very good, but that's not enough. We'll try lunch and see if there is anything unique that is offered. It would be nice to have something different in this...

I love a good diner and I was really hoping that this one would become our go-to diner spot but sadly, it disappointed us 🥲. The outside grabs your attention and begs you to stop for a little nostalgia, and the inside is just as inviting - a true throwback to the good old days. Service was prompt and friendly but that’s where the party party ended for us. I wanted to order one of their burgers but I saw pork belly and eggs Benedict and I just couldn’t resist. My wife saw skirt steak (her favorite) and ordered the steak and eggs.

Our food arrived at a reasonable pace and my plate looked nice but the pork belly looked more like your standard slice of bacon than a traditional thick slice of pork belly and when I cut into my “poached egg”, there was absolutely no liquid magic inside 🥲 Bummer!

My wife’s scrambled eggs were actually cooked pretty well - a rarity for most scrambled eggs, bit her skirt steak was very thin and dark black and not very appealing to the eye. It tasted as if it sat in Worcestershire sauce all day - void of any steak flavor 🥲. Her hash browns were standard fare, slightly browned and flavorless with a slightly greasy texture to them. Her biscuit was hard and flavorless. All in all a real disappointment.

When our food came, I asked if we could also have an order of fries and the waitress came back instantly with an order which told me they were sitting around instead of being cooked to order. Another disappointment.

I’m sure this place is much better than our experience would leave you to believe so don’t scratch them off your list because of this one review. Give them a try but maybe order a burger and a shake and I’ll bet you...

*update 10/11

I went back for a second time since the food was so good just like the first time. Cleanliness has been vastly improved. Food is still delicious. This is such a great addition to our community for a good diner. I totally recommend this restaurant to anyone that's wanting a good breakfast or a decent burger.

This diner is a really nice addition to our community. The food is fairly decent at a reasonable price. I thought service was fairly decent and quick. The only issue I had with the diner was the lack of cleanliness on both the floors, the light fixtures and around booths. I know this is a new place and they probably haven't completely gotten responsibilities figured out but as a restaurant, cleanliness is top of my list and is why I've given this place a three. The food was good but I wonder and worry that the kitchen is kept at the same level of cleanliness as the rest of the restaurant which is very low. While eating, I noticed in a ray of dirt and food particles and dead bugs around my booth. In the seat of the booth the floor was very filthy unable to get a photo that really showed this. It was also hair hanging from the light above my food where I was eating. The thing that I found most funny was upon exiting someone was cleaning the door coming in and out of the building but they weren't bothering to clean up the rest of the place. I would totally go back again and try it, but if the restaurant is still as filthy as it was upon my first visit, I probably...
