Sweet Beard Bakehouse — Restaurant in Lawrenceburg Township

If you don't want to enjoy the most delicious freshly baked pastries made by Tracy (the best baker) and sold by nicest local family, you'll want to skip this gem of a bakery.

As a lover of well-made pastry, I was dubious the first time I walked in the doors.

Now, a mere couple of months later, I walk there almost daily and had to create an entire line item in my budget for ALL their tasty treats! 😁

In addition to the usual flaky croissants and delicious danishes, you'll find a selection of both savory AND sweet scones in the cases.

The bacon & cheddar scone WAS my favorite - until I had the jalapeño scone. Then I tried the sausage and cheddar scone.

Now I just buy one of each, because they are ALL the best!

Did I mention the blueberry scones?

I probably shouldn't tell you about them, because when you find out how ridiculously yummy they are, you'll buy them all and there won't be any left for me.

So forget I said anything.

Which means I definitely shouldn't tell you about how amazingly perfect Tracy's shortbread is.

It's so good, even my Scottish ancestors would approve.

So, yeah - I won't tell you about it.

In fact, I should delete this review entirely - just to make sure you don't buy all the pastry perfection before I get there.

But supporting small, local, family owned business is super important, so I'll tell you to go here RIGHT NOW and buy all the things!

I went to visit Sweet Beard Bakehouse with my kids this morning and we loved it! The owners were very friendly, items in the case were being refilled as we came in and there were plenty of options for us to choose from. I especially appreciated having the choice to sit and eat since I had a three month old and an three year old who was eager to try his pastry. The glazed croissant is even better than a donut and we brought several items home to split as a family and we all couldn’t stop talking about how delicious everything was! New gem of the tri state! Sweet beard bakehouse opened in Lawrenceburg this month and adds a "one of a kind" new experience to the areas history! Everything is hand made and artisnally created. The baked goods and take out menu like wraps and chicken salad cannot be missed. The decor is awesome and tastefully done and there is plenty of room for dining and private parties or meetings. Great business in a well preserved historic area and the owners, Tracy and Garret are just wonderful, down to earth folks! Love this...
