While this might not seem relevant, this past Sunday I was traveling from Cape Cod to Colorado with my two children, our dogs and our life packed in a 20 foot uhaul (I drive a Fiat so you can imagine my anxiety) the rain turned moonson-ish and I got very nervous, I got off at the first lodging exit and was trying to find an economic hotel that accepts dogs as my phone died. I borrowed my daughters iPhone (I am an ancient android user - might as well hand a kid a rotary phone to compare ) I pulled into the driveway of the outlets to use the foreign phone, the driveway didn't allow room for me to safely pull over or turn around, so I drove up to the opening (NOT inside ) and pulled off the shoulder. I made two calls to a hotel and began to call another (8 minutes tops - I am from Boston I talk fast) and security rolled up. I profusely apologized (mind you it's 10 pm on a Sunday on October-YAWN!!) and she whom takes her job very seriously tells me with a blinding flashlight "you can't be here, this is private property" I smile and wave, apologize, and explain as my daughter cuddles on my shoulder and my dogs poke their noses out for treats or love. "This is trespassing, I don't care what you are doing do it somewhere else' now I am aggravated, I apologize again and ask if I can have a moment to make one more call - safely off the roadway and away from barreling trucks and skilled 18 wheelers, "ma'am you have 30 seconds to leave the premises before I begin trespassing charges. BEGIN? Is your security able to arrest judge and convict? What harm was I possibly doing at the ENTRANCEWAY of your closed establishment reading a map??? I think you need to teach your security to be a little more human and a little less...
Read moreWe visited this particular mall (Lee Premium Outlets) today and we were very disappointed. It was a sad, overpriced merchandise with store employees that did not care about customers with their bad or no service. For a dead mall, “outlet prices” are ridiculously high and no exciting sales pricing to bring customers and help stores increase sales. Just a few stores had sales promotions with exciting great service. Food court was sad with empty spots without much options to choose from but pizza place was good and friendly service. The mall did not have great/popular footwear name brand stores (Nike, Reebok, Puma, adidas, Timberland, etc). We visited just about every store and found that Under Armor, Famous Footwear, Clark’s, Polo and candle store give us the best customer service. These particular stores had great service that makes a difference compared to Levi’s that only had one female employee for the entire store (Very unsafe), Lids had two/three employees focused on rearranging merchandise with many customers wondering and did not care asking me or anyone for assistance and Tommy Hilfiger, Coach, Old Navy, Gap, Kate Spade and Champion did not greet and ignored us and other customers around the store. We left the mall embarrassed for choosing such a sad mall with overpriced merchandise and bad or no service. The previous three/four generic Google reviews DOES NOT match what this mall & stores has to offer. Especially when people give a five star and say that there is a lot of shoes to...
