Marina Park is a slice of lakeside magic and pure summertime fun! Nestled beside G. Marsten Dame Marina on Grand Traverse Bay, the vibrant Kent Holton Pavilion hosts Northport’s beloved Music in the Park series every Friday night—think free live to‑the‑bay music, blankets, picnic baskets, and a festive local crowd singing along under the stars . During daytime, the park bursts with energy. Kids enjoy the playground, families spread out on picnic tables and grassy lawns, while others cool off on the swimming beach just steps away from the docks . Anglers toss a line off the dock, friends gather around grills, and the marina’s dock carts and day‑use docks make exploring the waterfront easy . Whether you’re anchoring your boat or walking in from downtown’s shops and eateries, the park’s atmosphere makes you feel instantly part of the community. With stunning bay views, live tunes, beachside laughter, and festive Friday nights, Marina Park earns five stars as Northport’s go‑to spot for fun, friends, and waterfront joy.

Wonderful place! This park is right next to the Haserot Park, separated by the creek, and includes the marina. There's a small beach, a pavilion, a small gazebo, a playground with a volleyball court and restrooms. Plenty tables and benches are available on the grass and next to the marina. There is a public boat launch at the park/marina as well. Also great views of the lake and boats.

Good beach sand, clean water with swimming area marked, clean restroom, picnic tables and shade trees. Not crowded either. The resources are excellent and it's adjacent to Northport Village. For the Christmas Season a Christmas Tree adorns the community pavilion.

Great spot to stop for a picnic or to St by the water and relax. There are picnic areas with grills, including some "bring your own propane" grills. The restooms are clean with with running water and baby changing stations. Also a well maintained playground and a clean beach with plenty of parking and within walking...
