Went here for the first time and had one of the worst dining experience. Our waitress did not introduce herself. After 1 hour of waiting we saw tables that had been seated after us recieved their appitizers and their entre. Our kids sitting there hungry as we waited for our food.
Our waitress told us about 10 minutes later our food had been given to another table. We asked her to remove the appetizers from our order as the entre should be coming soon. After 1.5 hours I told my wife and hungry kids that if the food was not out in 2 minutes we would be leaving. The food came out with about 30 seconds to spare.
My wife's salad was "soggy" as if it had been sitting for awhile. We did not want to send it back, because we had no idea how long we would have to wait to get it again.
The waitress came to check on us only 2 times after the food was recieved. Once for a refill and another to ask if we were ready for our check and a box.
Our kids were excited to do some bowling, despite our experience. We decided to do it. I was appalled by how poorly the bowling ally worked. Everytime you bowled the lane would pick up 75% of the standing pins and sweep away the other standing pins. This resulted in spares, strikes, and added points when they did not happen.
Once the lane completely shut off mid game, and we had to get an employee. To come turn it back on. Another time the lane dropped a pin and swept it into the lane, resulting in us having to get another employee to remove the pin.
If you are looking to waste time and money, this is the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAwful. When I read āPeanut Butter Burgerā I thought that perhaps somebody would have gone through the trouble to create a delectable sauce of sorts thatād go well with a burger (hey, stranger things have happened in the culinary world). But: Nope. Here, PB Burger really means: a $20 peanut butter-smeared burger, and I cannot even attest to the pbās quality because it was nothing special. (Maybe some store value brand?) Secondly: If youāve ever had poutine, then you know the recipe is pretty simple: fries, cheese curds, protein, gravy. The poutine we received resembled nacho fries, right down to the jalapeƱos. (Yes: ā¦jalapeƱosā¦). Lastly, but not at all least: the tiny slice of blueberry cake had cinnamon andā¦maple syrup drizzle. (P.s. It was $12.00 š).
I am down with supporting local biz, but I am unsure as to how local this place can possibly be. Every other place in Northport that we have visited throughout the years has been worth a second-go and then some. This was our first time ordering from NPG, and I can certainly tell you itāll be the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe are on vacation and visited here tonight. It is a Friday night and around 7 pm the restaurant was quite empty.
We ordered an appetizer and our meal. We got the artichoke dip with pita chips. This was AMAZING (and the only reason for a positive 3 stars). We barely had our appetizer three minutes and our French dip sandwich arrived, even though we had told our server we wanted time to eat the appetizer. š
My husband and I each took one bite of the sandwich and could eat no more. It did not even taste like beef and was very greasy. It tasted like they used old fryer grease - had an awful taste. We told our server and she immediately took it and asked what we would like instead. We chose the chicken tenders since the grill would not be used. The tenders were "ok". Nothing out of the ordinary. Kinda blah. I ate one and my husband a couple.
It was disappointing. I mentioned it was my husband's birthday and the gal said they were out of desserts. š
I'd go again for the artichoke chip dip, but would not try...
