The 201 - Skye House & Gardens Vacation Rental — Attraction in Leelanau Township

We recently stayed in this beautiful house for our family vacation in Northport! We were blown away how big and spacious the house was. So many rooms to choose from! There were 7 of us staying here (including my 2yrold) and it never felt crowded. This house has such a cool history and they did such awonderful job renovating while keeping the essence intact. Each room was decorated beautifully and felt so warm and welcoming. The beds were comfortable too!! We loved how big the kitchen was and the long kitchen table to fit the whole family! Nice little window a/c unit upstairs to keep the rooms cooled off if need be. There were plenty of games to play, a piano, tvs with different streaming platforms, and bikes to ride around town! Perfect location!! We loved that there was a park with a playground & cute little beach right next door! Less than a 2min walk. Definitely a plus when visiting with kids. My fiancee (now wife!) and I had the most beautiful wedding weekend at the Skye House! The historic home is in fantastic shape with a great mix of original architectural details and modern amenities. Heather, the host, was lovely and went above and beyond in making sure we had everything we needed for hanging out at the house with our wedding party, for trips to the beach, for dinners in, and for our wedding night! We loved the central location which was not even a block from the beach, and a short walk from everything in town. We got married in the backyard which had a beautiful backdrop with a fantastic view of the lake (which was only about 40 yards away) and easily accommodated our dance floor...

Our family has stayed at Skye house for the past two years and are headed back again this summer. The location is perfect, just a block from just about everything - shops, restaurants, beach, library and marina. The house is beautiful and steeped in local history. It’s clean, well stocked and roomy enough for our family reunion. The huge kitchen table was great for playing the many games that were there.
