Soul Squeeze Cellars — Attraction in Leland Township

We were on our annual girls trip up near sleeping bear dunes and we wanted to stop here on our winery trip. We were very excited to try Soul Squeeze for the first time. We arrived 2hrs before their posted closing time and they informed us they were closing early today and past last call for drinks. We were very upset because we were excited to try and have a flight or tasting. They saw how disappointed we were and offered to pour a glass only. We said thank you and appreciated that they offered that. We sat and enjoyed our glass in the back yard and when we were finished we went back up and returned the glasses and we’re going to use the restroom before we left. When we went back inside they were pouring flights for a group of 3 (mind you we had 6 in our group). I politely asked, “oh are you guys now serving flights?” Confused that they had told us no flights. She responded, with a bit of a shameful response, as if she was caught in the act of doing something wrong and that we caught her by surprise that we came back in. We could tell the group that came after us were regulars of the sorts and were very well known by the workers. She told us if we wanted a flight she would now serve us after we had called her out on serving someone else. With the poor treatment, we decided we would take our business elsewhere. I do not recommend this place to anyone who isn’t a local because you will be treated very poorly and like an outcast. We took our business to Boathouse right down the road and were greeted...

We had a fabulous time doing a cider and wine tasting here last week. Thank you to Taylor and Eva who were friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. They made excellent recommendations and made the whole experience more enjoyable. Thank you for the excellent service!

The Crazy Carroll cherry fortified wine was delicious and unique. My husband absolutely loved the Bubblius Sparkling Riesling and bought 3 - 4 packs of it. I HIGHLY recommend the Captain Hotpants blackberry and ghost pepper hard cider. It is absolutely phenomenal, and we bought 4 - 4 packs of it to go!

Too bad we can't get alcohol shipped to our home state, because we would have signed up for the monthly wine subscription. But we will definitely be back next time we are...

This was such an unexpected delight! Beautiful tasting room, nice outdoor seating including a stage for livr events, and most importantly great service and great wine!

We really enjoyed the tasting we did with Loretta. She explained everything so well, listened to my likes and dislikes, which resulted in me trying some nice wine I would normally skip from Michigan wineries.

Flights are priced very fairly which I appreciated after the shock at some other Leelanau wineries. It gave us the opportunity to really taste their offerings and actually buy bottles we were confident we'd like at home.
