I patronized this store in Lake Leelanau when it was Jaffe's. I am a degreed retired professional, who moved to this area 11 years ago. My sister introduced me to Jaffe's, and I was hooked from the first visit. I drove up there several times a year, for beautiful clothing and furniture pieces that were very reasonably priced. Those two factors kept me coming back. Just this month I visited for the first time, after the store came under new ownership & became "Evergreen". I have to be painfully honest in saying....the prices have more than doubled on most all of the items. There is a large selection of everything but....as a retired professional - why would I want to pay $65.00 for a used sweater....when I can find brand new ones for half that price during sale events? The staff are still very friendly, but sadly I will not return to this new store. It is far too highly priced for a "thrift resale" shop....and will not be worth the drive from...

Plan on spending some time, there is a lot to see and it's a large store. The sales room has half off things and $5 bins of clothing-it's fun to dig in like a pirate looking for treasures! Men's clothing is mostly nice outdoorsy/athletic brands, and women's clothing has something for every style and age group-new and trendy, a sprinkle of vintage, lots of linen, and boutique items. I've seen brand like Doen, Magnolia Pearl, Spell and the Gypsy Collective, etc!! They have a rewards program and if you consign, you get an extra 10% when you shop with store credit which really adds up especially saving on furniture pieces or treating myself to something fancy lol! I have been decorating my house with home decor from Evergreen for years and this location really...
Read moreEvergreen Consignment Leelanau is one of my all-time favorite Michigan resale shops. It's definitely a destination in it's own right! The Traverse City branch is pretty darned good, as well, but Leelanau is a much larger storefront with a widely varied inventory. The staff at both stores are great, and the quality of merchandise is superb. Every visit is like a treasure hunt. Forrest Gump is rumored to have said, "Life is like a trip to Evergreen Consignment. You never know what you're...
