It took me a long time to write this review. I purchased a 2015 Cadillac Escalade ESV from this dealership about a year and a half ago. At first impression was good the salesman Travis was very nice the whole experience went well on my way driving home I noticed that the touchpad on my radio did not really work I text Travis to ask questions about the radio and he never responded. Months went on no response. Then another situation in March of 2022 occurred in regard to this vehicle that led me to a repair shop and then the Cadillac dealership here in Buffalo NY they did a whole certified vehicle check and discovered many problems first this vehicle has been in a flood I was wondering why the seats were so faded and the 3r row seats were missing the head rest when I got it but I just thought it was because it was older .Second the electrical system is shot in the vehicle Third the radio is shot(NEVER WORKED) which is vital it controls the heat, location ,cool air and your DVD and Navigation , none of this worked. The way I was fooled is by the radio working partially where you can hear one station but could not adjust anything because the screen didn’t work, when I discovered all of this, I tried to get in contact with the dealership right away. NO RESPONSE until early this year. I spoke to the Service dept manager name Brandon Feltman who emailed me a copy of the repair invoice and I explained the situation and he advised me that they would be willing to repair the radio because they KNEW that it didn’t work !! He wanted emailed proof that I addressed this right away and I sent it. My Lemon Cadillac is in the shop now! I called them, like I have previously, left messages emails they will ignore you. I made clear that I needed to speak to someone. The man I spoke to in the service dept said t his manager was not available, and I asked when should I call back he said 20 minutes I did exactly that to get another excuse. To tell the truth the GM of the service dept, didn’t want to speak to me because he knew what he told me that he would do for me and the email that he sent me of the INVOICE of repairs to this Escalade before I brought it. He had the GM Denny Potts of the location call me and he was defensive from the start “Were not doing anything you didn’t purchase a WARRENTY Im not going to Listen to you go back and forth “ DID not want to hear anything at one point I asked him do you think that I’m calling you for nothing? Mind you the radio is a critical part of the control of the Cadillac along with The Electrical system which is HUGE and all the other problems discovered LAST YEAR” He Was rude. Unprofessional, argumentative ,BIAS and definitely made it obvious that it was a COLOR thing.. Told me that he told all of his employees not to talk to me because I got a lawyer, and I got what I purchased its been almost 2 years and I’m not doing nothing to fix your vehicle” I know that race played a part because of the comment about going back and forth. The angry black woman assumption.” Even if this was true, I had a lawyer involved most dealerships would of heard what you had to say addressed your concern because the goal to please your customers and even if you do nothing find a better way to Say it. I lost not him I brought that truck in January of 2022 and drove it a complete 6 months since 2022 and now completely un-operatable, I have tried to address this since I brought it. 55,000.00 down the drain… I read there Sarcastic response all of this is true . I HAVE NO REASON TO MAKE THIS UP. I have proof "And what he doesnt realize is there is 6 year statute for fraud...
Read moreI had a $10,000 deposit on a CT5 V Blackwing for almost 3 years at this point. Finally the dealership was able to get an allocation for the Blackwing and once that came in the GM had my sales person constantly "remind" me the the GM's friend really wants this allocation. So after a while they wear me down and I give up the allocation to the GM's "friend". I ask for my deposit back and get told that it's "in the mail" and get the run around for a while. 3 weeks later they tell me that I can just come pick it up from their location. As I walk into the lobby to come pick up my deposit there sits a CT5 V Blackwing in the lobby. So I ask around and turns out the GM's "friend" wasn't real and they just had my allocation (but not my spec) sitting in their lobby. So I ask one of the sales people if I'd be able to test drive it. He goes to the sales manager(?) and comes back and says "serious buyers only"... HUH?! $10,000 down on a car for almost 3 years isn't serious? If this is how they treat their high end buys I can't imagine what they put others through. Absolutely insulting. Never shopping at any Fairfield location again. Edit: "The rarity of these cars simply doesn't allow us to tell GM we don't want one this week, we either take it or lose the allocation all together." Right here just proves your intent to force my hand on the allocation. I said I wanted my spec and I'd wait for the seats backs to be in order. You then had my salesman tell me constantly that your GM's friend wanted my allocation. So I took the hint that you wanted me off the allocation. Instead of saying that the dealership will lose the allocation because of the constraints on the seats you play childish games and make up stories. Also, I'm not mad about the test drive or lack there of, it's the response that I'm mad at. "Serious buyers only" is a kick in the pants response when I had 3 years of money down with you guys. If I really wanted the test drive I would have lied and said that I was serious on buying the white Blackwing but I didn't. This kind of attitude gets you less future repeat business. Pure childish attitude and snark from management. The tone of your response really says it all. But you should ask Blaise CDJR just up the road about me. They love me there because I'm not a problem customer and they're not a problem dealership. It just makes no sense to me to get me off my allocation, which was a guaranteed buy had you not pressured me off, just to get a cheaper build that'll sit in your...
Read moreWe bought my certified pre owned Silverado through them in 2015 and hag a pretty decent experience. So when my wife saw a sale they were having on brand new 2019 equinoxes we went there. She found the one she wanted, took it for a test drive and loved it. The salesman (I can't remember his name but her was an old guy that said he wass in the business for years) was clueless on any of the vehicles features and even straight out lied on some of the "specs" of the vehicle. Then the real agony started. They had it listed as $7,000 off sticker price in the ad and that's the price he had written down also. He refused to give us anything more on our trade in citing "they were already taking $7,000 off the equinox". That was a complete lie and scam. Come to find out that $5,500 of it was a GM sales promotion and the other $1,500 was only of you financed through GMAC. So these dirtbags weren't losing a penny off of full sticker price and acting like they were bending over backwards for us! Then come to find out that even with pretty good credit GMAC had a horrible interest rate so we went with a local lender so they took the $1,500 off back and still refused to give us another $1,000-1,5000 towards our trade in to compensate. We should have told them where to shove it and walked out but by that point my wife was I love with the vehicle and they already had us there for going on two hours. I will guarantee you though that I will NEVER buy another vehicle from them ever again and I will tell everybody that will listen to how much of scam artists this ripoff dealership is. Their "great" prices I see people on here talking about isn't them being a good dealer, they're just GM sales and incentives you could get at any dealer. They charge full sticker price and make full commission off all their vehicles, you better believe that. These scumbags are nobodies friend or doing any...
