Cook Memorial Park in Libertyville is a delightful spot for families. Its well-maintained grounds offer lush green spaces perfect for picnics, casual strolls, and outdoor activities. The park features a playground that kids love, and plenty of benches to relax on. Seasonal events, including summer concerts and holiday celebrations, add to its community charm. The historic Cook House Museum provides a glimpse into the past, enriching the cultural experience. The park's central location makes it easily accessible, and ample parking is a plus. Overall, Cook Memorial Park is a serene and welcoming escape in the heart of Libertyville.

As a central focal point to the local community, Cook Park offers something for everyone. Meander through this park's lovely rose garden in the warm months, grab a picnic bench to enjoy a quick bite, or let kids explore the updated playground. Plus, the park is the perfect setting for the many events hosted here throughout the year, like the Farmer's Market, Lunch in the Park, Festival of the Arts, Car Fun on 21, and Village Tree Lighting.

Needed to kill time before a train, so my friend and I had an impromptu fall themed photo session at this picturesque park. Hardly anyone was around on a Saturday afternoon. We were able to get excellent tree photos with the historic buildings in the background. There are many park benches to sit at, and picnic tables as well, so it's a great place to relax. Not too close to the main road so the noise isn't bad.

An almost perfect little park: cool building, flowers, trees, picnic tables, shade, tree canopy, playground, Pokestops. Restaurants that sell carryout across the street. Library directly adjacent. Nice chill place. Surprisingly cozy and relaxing for being right on Milwaukee Ave. During warm months they have frequent festivals and farmers markets around this park. If I lived downtown I would be there...
