What you need to know: They're definitely a little more expensive than other local spots (duh), staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, most of the prices are member prices (you need to sign up at the register - it's free), and most of the more expensive bottles are behind the register.
I live quite literally around the corner and was curious when they were building this and it turned out to be a liquor store. I've been to most local places, and despite ownership changes lately, Spritzer's has been my go-to, but I decided to give this new place a shot.
Price: Let's be honest, this is probably the main deciding factor next to convenience in buying liquor. And unfortunately, this is where they get docked a star for me. They're on average about $5-$15 more expensive than other spots nearby. And that's with the member pricing.
Variety: This is where they excel. I don't think they'll ever be out of stock of something (at least for now - I know they're new), since they're basically the Wal-Mart of spirits with regards to their selection - almost anything and everything you need and copious amounts of it!
Staff: Super friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. Definitely way better than most local spots where their owners and workers look angry to be there.
Ambience: It's brand new so it's a modern look on the inside and they're playing all the latest hits, which makes for a fun shopping experience.
All in all I'll probably be back from time to time, but their prices are just too high for me. Great store and convenient location for those of us who live...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI donāt like to make a big deal out of nothing but this was absolutely unacceptable given the current polltical climate weāre in. I drove almost an hour away, mind you, because this liquor store is very clean and usually very professional and friendly. Iāve been coming here for about 2 years. I came into the store wanting to buy some drinks to enjoy at home. When I got to the register, the South Asian older gentleman immediately gives me a suspicious look as if I had done something wrong. He then proceeds to turn his iPad around to show me that he ācan see everything going on in the storeā as if to intimidate me and insists that heās just āletting me knowā in an accusatory tone. I let him know thatās fine. My brother comes up to the register and asks him why heās wearing his hoodie, almost as if he was making fun of him or treating him as if he was a thug. My brother usually leaves his hoodie on because heās kind of shy. He then asks for my ID and after he already checks my stuff out he asks me my date of birth. Out of all the times Iāve been there Iāve never been asked that nor have I been treated like this. I would like to believe it was simply a misunderstanding but given the growing racism against Hispanics recently this felt very, very targeted. We did nothing wrong in the store and I simply took a little time deciding what I want to purchase. I will never be coming back here, and I urge other hispanics to beware of this location, because they might even call the cops simply because of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWILL NOT BE RETURNING. I went there last night for some super bowl supplies. Beautiful, clean, and well organized store, but the older man working the cash register me feel sub human. I went to check out. Said hello. Was ignored. He just stared at me without saying anything, not knowing what was going on. I then took out my id, hoping that's what he wanted. He looked at very weirdly and judgmentally. I get I look young for my age, but I'm almost thirty and it's clearly me. Still said nothing. Have it back and scanned my items. Didn't say a word. Again wasn't sure if I was suppose to pay or whether he was finished. I decided to go ahead and pay with cash. I guess that was a problem because the only thing that did come out of his mouth was a long sigh when I handed him the money. Then as he handed me my change, I started to say thank you, for some reason, and he literally cut me off mid word to tell his coworker Ruth I believe that he needed more money.
Absolutely disgusting behavior. The business is absolutely foolish for having someone like that be the age of guest interaction. I was absolutely appalled. I don't know if he thought I was younger than I was, or just racist but it made me feel sub human for sure. Will not...
