I came here a couple months ago and there were no Hispanic workers. They all were very rude and refused to help my dad becuze he couldn’t speak English so we didn’t come back here. Just recently I came because I had no other option and my service was amazing all except one person. I first came in and was ignored by the tall lady RJJ who claimed to be the store manager. After standing a while, I asked for help and she got a attitude and told me to wait and so I did. The short Hispanic girl Adrianna was just arriving to work it seemed and the first thing she did was ask if I needed help. I explained to her I did and was standing there for a very long time. She sincerely apologized and helped me find what I need. She is the reason I will be going back to that store. The only thing that’s missing in this store is a store manager who cares about their customers. While there, I overheard many hispanic customers talking about how she treats them like they don’t exist. I asked politely if there was someone I could ask a small question and I was told no. I've never heard of a retail store telling a customer no one could answer a question about a product that they are selling. So I decided to call and speak with the general manager and happened to get the assistant manager. He wouldn't even let me speak about my experience before he started cutting me off and making excuses. His excuse for bad customer service was that they service over 500 stores from that location and a lot of the employees don't know anything about the products. Wait a minute? So basically they just hire people to fill up space and don't train them on the things that are being sold. POOR EXCUSE! I first visited O’Reilly’s and when they could not install a new light I called this Auto Zone location to ask if they were able to. Jerel took my call and verified that he could personally change it for me without additional service charge if I could get there before he left for the day.
The line inside was long and my toddler and infant were waiting with me. Jerel got to us as quickly as possible and opened the door to follow us to the car. He saved me a second trip inside with the babies to pay for the new bulb by offering to ring it up, take the cash inside and bring me the receipt and any change.
