Read moreVisited the place with my 2 month old baby..the temple is a real wonder. As baby was in the stroller, we used elevator. There is a room where we keep our shoes. After that point, no cellphone or food is allowed.we went to the second floor where we saw mind blowing architecture in white marble. I parked the stroller inside and walked with baby in that heavenly place. Starting with Ram Seetha there are lot of Hindu deities idols. Pillars also have beautiful sculptures highlighted with white lights. In the first floor everyone can do abhishekam with water they provide without paying anything. There we can find a book in which the story of swaminarayan is beautifully illustrated with pictures.by the time baby my started crying and we couldn’t find a place to feed. So we bottle fed him sitting on a bench in the shoe room. Then we went to restroom for changing his diaper.Restroom building looked huge n beautiful, but only 2 rooms in ladies section. And one door opens to diaper changing station n found difficulty in doing so. Outside there is kids play area which is enough big n parents can sit on benches provided. The lane of elephant head statue that we see in other reviews doesn’t have water now. There its beautiful flowers n filled with mulch. We couldn’t find the water body also. I guess they changed everything to lawn now. Will visit the place again for sure. In the gift shop lots books n pooja items are there. The cafeteria is near the entrance gate from the main road. We reached there by 7pm and it closes by 8. Thats why many dishes were finished. Lot of bakery items are...
