I attended this university for one year before my family moved. It was my first year of college and I had lived in Centennial Hall. At the time, it was the only coed dorm on campus. I met several people here and if it were not for my own crippling introversion, I might have kept up with them over the years. I've long since outgrown those traits and today I look back at NWU as a safe place where I was able to learn and my first experience of the world as a very young adult. It’s nice to see that there have been significant upgrades for students to have modern study spaces. As I walked around campus I saw a handful of black students which is great In comparison to when I came on my first college visit in 2016/2017.
