5:43pm I placed an order for delivery.
6:56pm I called because we still hadn’t gotten our order. I explained that I knew the weather was bad, I was looking for an update on my order and offered to come pick it up to make it easier for them. The reply I got was, “We do delivery”, clearly not listening to anything I just said. So I just say I already placed an order. They wonder if I have the correct location since they don’t have the order. I look at the email and rattle off the Pizza Hut address. Then they ask for the phone number. I’m told the order was canceled and 5:45pm. I didn’t cancel the order so I was confused. I have an email and text message saying my order was placed and being made. Shouldn’t I have gotten an email saying it was canceled? Then, I’m told all the orders for a two hour window were canceled due to the weather. While I understand and sympathize shouldn’t I have been notified? (NOTE: I should’ve been more aware of the weather. I was in my basement. I knew there was a storm but I didn’t know it was severe tornado weather.) I learn I’m speaking to the manager and am told they called me. I had my phone on and next to me since I placed the order so I could get the text updates and go upstairs. It never rang and there is no missed call from Pizza Hut in the history. I get put on hold. When the manager comes back they just say they called me. I request proof because I have no proof on my end that I canceled anything or that they called. If I need proof I need to call the next morning and speak to the general manager, Beth. Why do I then need to call while I’m at work to get the situation figured out, shouldn’t Beth be calling me?
I just can’t believe how quickly this escalated. No apology for the situation or offering a solution. I thought I was being pretty nice and reasonable. I understand mistakes happen but work with me, something. I hate working with customers and understand you usually get yelled at. I wasn’t going to be one of those people but the only feedback I was getting was this is somehow my fault for canceling the order and/or not answering my phone. I eventually said something like, “So that’s it?” and the reply was something like, Oh did you want us to make the order? I hung up. Like I said I was just shocked at how I was treated. Not listened to, told it’s my fault, then that they canceled the order and that they called. The story just changed so much and again not one apology or how can we fix this situation.
I don’t want a freebie. I understand a lot of people abuse situations and want everything free. I just wanted dinner that I was going to pay for. I also understand that I’m probably being put on a “Don’t Deliver because they’re difficult people” list. This is sad because Pizza Hut is my husband’s favorite pizza delivery place but I understand. You have to do what...
Read moreThis Is my veiw, as far as I can tell Pizza/any and all delivery services have a bit of give and take that should be brought to mind the moment you leave the care of something out of your hands and aren't paying out of control prices for it. With this in mind I have yet to have reason not to repeat my business. I have used both phone and online methods of ordering and over the dozen or more times this last year I decided cooking was too much effort I have only had one order go a miss. This order was two pizza, an order of some noodle dish (wasn't the only one ordering) and a two liter all thru phone for pick up.
I waited the correct amount of time spending it getting some movies to go with dinner then to get my order. One pizza with noodle stuff was ready but the other had gotten looked over, they asked for a short amount of time to correct the order and thru in some cheese sticks for the wait. Then I found out they were out of the two litter I had wanted but again they offered to give a bit more and let me choose any three of the 20oz drinks which worked out well since I really didnt want that soda and was gonna have to buy one on the way home anyway. It only took 15 mins for my other pizza to be done and during which we had talked and enjoyed a bit of a joke during this all. This was the worst I had ever seen of them and only happened once this whole last year, I say One out of roughly fifteenth still gives them an A in service. but then again its never perfect just as expected so very good seemed right.
I would go on but It seems I am rambling. (wrap up of review) So decor its small but clean. You can watch them cook which give sorta an air of knowing that just makes you feel nothing should go wrong without you knowing kinda like security.
The people are good and willing to chit chat but not gab so you won't be bothered if you really don't want to talk about football or something.
The food is predictably well done but with an edge of "Everything is bread" but hey you chose...
Read moreDo yourself a favor and go elsewhere! Food is never prepared correctly and is cold most of the time ... it don’t matter if you order hand tossed, pan, or crispy it never tastes good ... not cooked right... cold... etc ...I’ve given this place tons of different chances and every time it’s been the same...and also add tonight’s bs to the list... being told about how if you have to many toppings on the pan pizza it won’t be cooked all the way through and not to order that and order hand tossed... guess how many toppings I had told I wanted on the pizza? Half pepperoni and half sausage ... guess that is to many toppings to prepare a pan pizza correctly with the dough done in the middle .. this was me calling to use a credit that expires in short time if not used ...after arguing about the crust and how they can’t make pan crust pizza with 2 toppings split in half on the pizza that it wouldn’t be cooked all the way through ... I told them to just keep there coupon! It’s not worth my time.. you want awesome like back in the day Pizza Hut pizza go to the one on Andermatt Drive ... hands down 100% amazing and they always get the pan crust cooked all the way through and all there other food is prepared correctly and guess what you don’t get sick from Andermatt store .... like I said do yourself a favor and go...
