Byrde + the b — Attraction in Litchfield

Unfort not the greatest experience. I bought a gift card for my fiancé. I was charged an extra fee for the gift card, that’s fine. I then made an appt for him to see the barber upstairs (not a scissor cut). I was very specific bc he doesn’t like scissor cuts. When he went upstairs he was told curtly he was not on the schedule and had to go downstairs. He went downstairs and they said they didn’t have him scheduled at all and he could “settle” for a scissor cut. He did, but not what he wanted. At the end they charged him another fee to redeem the gift card?? It wasn’t about the small fee - I was more upset I gave a gift and he had to pay. That’s not what I was told. Wonderful experience with Ange. I highly recommend her. I had single process and highlights around my face. I really appreciated her honesty of what I needed done today. My color came out beautifully, and she was extremely professional, had great energy, and delivered. You can tell she is knowledgeable about hair, and brings great experience to the scene. The whole team was super friendly, offered coffee, tea, and comfort for a wonderful experience. Also, everything is clean and spaced out, I felt very safe with Covid. This was my first visit to this salon. Love the local artist work too that's around the salon. They're full service here, so I'll probably try one of their other services some time...

I travel over 3hrs each way to see Lucy. She’s my hair Goddess/ Wizard/ Magician. I’m blonde and crazy picky about every aspect of my hair. And with Lucy, I literally walk in and say “do your thing”. She’s the maestro and I’ve never had anything less than stellar results. Also, the spa, the owner (hey hey Scott!), and the vibe of this place is totally on point. The salon is filled with amazing art and beautiful things to purchase, with lots of stunning jewelry from Marrakech, Morocco, where the owner has an equally chic Riad for rent.
