I went there to watch my great-grandson, 6 year old, who is on a soccer team. What an incredible experience! I yelled so much I was hoarse!! The coaches have patience of a saint and you can tell that the coaches have been teaching them well at practice games. It is a well-organized game field, there are at least 12 games going on at once. It's a well-kept Park, the grass is green and well-groomed. A beautiful view wherever you look. Plenty of parking for all those parents with kids in games. I had a blast watching all these adorable six year olds, some totally focus on the game and a couple of the girls were more interested in looking at the butterflies and birds! What a fun day!! Read moreThe park is anchored by Hine Lake. The lake has a path around it that's almost exactly a mile long. Half of the path is finished concrete while the other is crushed gravel. There's a charming picnic and playground area that includes basketball and tennis courts, a covered pavilion with charcoal grills and a swingset. There's a fishing pier on the south side of the lake, but the fishing here isn't the best in my experience- the lake hasn't been stocked since late 2016 and receives heavy pressure from the locals.
