A Hidden Gem That Deserves a Loud Shout! Camino Real Mexican Restaurant in Littleton is one of those rare spots that feels like you’ve stumbled onto a local secret — and then instantly want to tell everyone you know. The food? Ridiculously good. Fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Every bite feels like it came from someone’s abuela’s kitchen (if she were a certified flavor wizard). Whether it’s the enchiladas, street tacos, or that perfectly seasoned rice — you’ll leave full and already plotting your next visit. But let’s talk happy hour: Monday through Friday, 1–5PM — $2 beers and $4.99 margaritas? That’s practically stealing in this economy. And the margs aren’t your average “pre-mix-and-pray” kind either — they’re refreshing, strong enough to feel it, and exactly what you want on a sunny Colorado afternoon. Service is always kind and welcoming. It’s the kind of place where you feel taken care of. Camino Real is a reminder that good food doesn’t need to be flashy — it just needs to be real.

Not bad Mexican food. The only thing I do not like is the one serving Chips and Salsa but guess is better than paying by default. Cheese Enchilada was little bland for me bit my wife loved it. I did like the Beef Enchilada, shredded beef Burrito and Guacamole Tostada. Think price is little high but that is true most places now.

Food is so good and reasonably priced. But it’s the friendly service that keep us coming back. Be warned. The margaritas are delicious and go down so smoothly. This is the medium, plan accordingly.

My wife and I stopped in kindve last minute. We were trying out a new restaurant in the area but after reviewing that restaurants' menu (and it being lack luster) and seeing the crowd we decided to stop in here instead.

We had a 2 chile rellenos and 2 chicken chimichanga plate.

The food was "okay". Not terrible, but I wouldn't say it was "the best". I've had Authentic Mexican food and this was bland in comparison. The green chili tasted like it was out of a jar, salsa was spicy but bland, chicken was.. chicken.

The service was.. interesting. Not bad, just different. It was very.. idk, "hey, you ready?" "Hey, you good?". My wife and I sat down and as soon as I closed the menu the gentleman popped his head around the corner and was like - "you ready?" I mean, I was, but the interaction was weird. I remember even asking my wife - that was weird, right? I did feel well taken care of though!

The atmosphere was... Off-putting a bit in terms of noise. There's no dampening in the ceiling so it all just echos. 6 or 7 tables and it's really loud. There was a kid in the table next to us that was having a fit.. it sounded like the world had ended with all the echo reverberations.

Thanks for...

NO STARS!!!! are you kidding me! THEY STEEL YOUR MONEY!!! We waited a long time for someone to serve us, and then when they did come to the table to take the order they would not come back. We had to go FOUR TIMES to get someone to come back to the table!!!! I understand if you are understaffed, but if I see my waiter hang out and hug on the people a few tables away from me, and not acknowledge my party - you do NOT deserve a tip! I asked the guests that were at my table what they thought my waiter and waitress should get for a tip and they ALL agreed - NO tip!! TWO DAYS Later - I see that they charged my card $10.00 more than what I signed and authorized for! That is STEELING!!! I contacted the 'owner' and instead of them putting it back on my card, I was told I have to drive down there so he could give me cash back - for them STEELING money from me! I will NEVER go back here, and I plan on telling EVERYONE I know about this place!!!!!!!! Worst service!!! Not so great food - TOOK over a half hour to get! One drink comes out and the other one we had to go get ourselves! AND STOLE money from us! *if you go there - checking your bank accounts...
