I called a couple of days before our visit regarding some family history questions and spoke with Rebecca. I gave her some background and the family member we were inquiring about and told her we would be there on the 8th and 9th of July. When we arrived on Sunday, Jay was there and when I gave him the family name, he said we have some information for you. There was a bombing on July 1, 1922 that killed the son and daughter-in-law of the relative we inquired about. They also showed us the original Urbach School that was moved and reconstructed on their property. We also had assistance from Bruce Graham at the Museum on Monday. Everyone there was so helpful and friendly. We really appreciated their hospitality and knowledge. Their exhibits upstairs were interesting too, we looked over those on Monday. We were able to talk to the current owners of our families 1900 properties. Mr. Graham even contacted the current owner of the 9th St Island property and the owner agreed to show us around.
