$36.....8 oz. SIRLOIN steak that comes with mashed potatoes and vegetables as sides. Asked for extra vegetables instead of the potatoes. Apparently $4 to substitute one side out for more of the other side that already comes with the dinner. $40 for the food that you see. Sat in the bar, and it was not busy. Resturaunt as a whole was not busy. Service was sub-par and very inefficient all around. I will never even think about stepping foot into this resturaunt again in my life. Also, make sure to read the reviews that the resturaunt left back on people that gave them honest, negative reviews. You wont need to know much more to make up your mind. You be the judge.....👎👎👎
To owners response....first of all I will never adjust to greedy owners and places that rip people off. Secondly, if that's how you want to conduct business, that is on you, but you will soon realize that customers have other options, and operating like you do at some point you will not be on those lists of those customers. You can rip tourists off all that you want. That is on your conscious every day. I have not spoken to one local person who is happy at all with your establishment, and feel exactly how I do. Maybe I should have taken a better photo to show the proportions of the entire meal. Half a plate of veggies yea right😂 also, to charge someone $4 to substitute one side for the other of the sides that already comes with the dinner is outrageous. It wasn't a separate special request. It wasn't substituting for any other special side on the menu. It wasnt asking for another extra side of vegetables. Again, that is only one part of the issues I had with my experience at your establishment. Your menu is terrible, and the pricing is completely out of line for every single item listed. Which again these are all things that you take upon yourself, and your business, to put out there and run the way you would like to. You are in the single order business tho. You are not in the happy return customer business i can tell you that right now. Your response is a complete joke filled with nothing but arrogance, and no concern for paying customers. People who chose to give your establishment a try. In fact you have left the same kind of degrading remarks to everyone else who has given an honest, negative review. You treat your customers like they are meaningless, and can't take a single ounce of constructive criticism. Look in the mirror. Do a better job. Everyone should be having an incredible experience at your establishment from the food, (quality and quantity), all of the way followed through to the service they receive. That is your job after all right? If you were good at that, and actually were concerned past people's money, you may start getting better reviews. Your place is a joke. I am born and raised in Montana. I travel all over for work. I eat at many resturuants a week. This place is an absolute embarrassment. "Fine Dining" leave hungry, and in this case very disappointed all around. Most importantly QUIT MAKING EXCUSES! Have...
Read moreIf you’re taking a person you hate on a date, this is the place for you. Worst experience of all times. The manager is the definition of Incompetent management. Three waitresses, a useless manager/host and one bar tender for the entire place on a busy holiday weekend night. (Friday, July 5th) We saw one table get up and walk out shortly after we ordered our drinks. We should have followed their lead. No joke. One glass of house red wine, and two cocktails, one ice tea and 3 kids drinks took 50 minutes to come out. Our kids did not get their drinks until we did. One cocktail was made incorrectly TWICE. It was a double Tanqueray on the rocks with four olives. How hard is that??? The useless manager brought my martini. He spilled a quarter of it on the table as he held it by the lip of the martini glass. Oh, and this was about five minutes after we watched him lick his fingers to separate some menus. So his nasty spit fingers gripped my martini glass by the rim. I would normally have sent back, but since it had already been 50 mins, I wiped it off and hoped the alcohol killed any of his germs. Two members of our party ordered appetizers as their meals. One, the Wings were the last to be brought out. Burned and after everyone else was already completely FINISHED with their meal. The other appetizer meal just never came. So one member of our party literally got zero dinner. We had been in there for over an hour and a half with no one clearing plates, dishes, empty glasses, or checking on the quality. The manager walked past our table at least five times and did not take a dish, refill a water glass, or help his waitresses run plates. We asked the waitress to take the missing meal off the bill. She didn’t and brought the check out. We paid for it anyway because it was too annoying to wait for her to fix it.
Manager roamed around the restaurant and did not help the wait staff at all. We actually started an entire conversation about what he was doing...literally nothing besides wandering around. We decided he’s really good at faking being busy. He walked back and forth between the bar and he host stand. That’s it. This place sucks and I would run far away before trying. So, if you have to take someone you hate to dinner, take them to the Livingston...
Read moreMy girlfriend and I came into the Livingston Bar and Grille on a Thursday around 7PM and asked for two seats. We were greeted by a gentleman who asked us if we had reservations to which we said no. Under normal circumstances, I have no problem with not having reservations and having to wait, or not even getting a table at all, but this gentleman's response and rehearsed body language were all not adding up for me. Something else was at play. There were several tables available, and I'm not just talking two or three tables, there were double that available immediately to seat us. The gentleman proceeded to talk about how "you see, technology is great....yadda yadda yadda" and told us that they couldn't accommodate us because we didn't have a reservation, and how he's sorry, but you just "have to have a reservation" to be seated. He then said that he "might" be able to seat us 30 minutes before closing, and even the inflection in his voice changed when saying "might". I went online and saw that I was able to book a reservation immediately, so I did, but by the time I was able to do that, my girlfriend had found a new place to dine. I cannot stand when owners of restaurants turn away business for some silly reason, especially when trying to adapt to new technology. If you want people to use the reservation system, just say that. I don't know what it was, but you could have accommodated us and chose not to. We were happy before we came there and went to a neighboring restaurant who were even more packed, but were still able to accommodate us. Imagine that! We had a great time there and sorry it wasn't here. We wish you could have taken the $424 check from us, but it went elsewhere. What would have happened if we came back the two minutes later and said we had a...
