Kids Empire Lodi- 7/19/2025
I hosted a graduation celebration for my daughter at Kid Empire in Lodi. While the experience started off well and the facility itself was enjoyable, I am deeply disappointed by how the event concluded.
We booked the venue from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. As we approached the end of our scheduled time, around exactly 5:00 PM, my guests were abruptly told to stop eating and were directed to leave, despite still being seated and in the process of finishing their meals. Staff insisted they stop eating immediately and take their food to go. We complied, though the manner in which this was handled was both embarrassing and disheartening.
What was missing was basic customer service and human decency. There was no courteous conversation or flexibility, no one came to ask how much longer our guests might need to finish their meals. What made the situation even more disappointing was the fact that no other party was waiting to enter the space. There was no urgency or legitimate need to rush us out in such a harsh manner.
To make matters worse, this incident unfolded in front of other families and patrons, turning a joyful celebration into an unnecessarily sour experience. The lack of empathy and consideration shown was striking, especially given the premium price we paid.
All I ask is that businesses reflect on what genuine customer service means. Treat your customers with the same courtesy and respect you would want for yourself or your family. This was a special day for us, and it could have ended on a much more positive note with just a little compassion and...
Read moreThe play area is HUGE and my 4 year old had a TON of fun at the birthday party she attended. The Dragon Charachter in the dance area was a HUGE hit too! My criticisms are as follows: An employee should be in the motorized car area at all times to monitor. The kids tend to converge in that area on foot and could get injured by the moving cars. We/parents had to do the monitoring, as the employee kept leaving and coming back. As I mentioned the netted play maze area is HUGE and DEEP. You lose sight of your little one as they explore the twists and turns. What I observed were parents climbing up the attractions with their little ones. I didnt like the fact that there were adults mingled in with the little ones and I wasnt able to see at all times. Front desk and floor staff could be much friendlier as they interact with the guests. The staff could make it feel alot more friendly and kid-fun-friendly if they warmly greeted and interacted...
Read moreWe celebrated my daughter’s birthday at Kids Empire, and it was absolutely amazing! The kids had a blast from start to finish — the play areas were clean, safe, and full of energy. Everything ran smoothly, and the whole experience was stress-free for us parents.
A special shoutout to Angie, our server, who was truly the best! She was so kind, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. She made sure the kids and adults were happy, and her friendly attitude made the day even better.
Highly recommend Kids Empire for any birthday party — and if you’re lucky enough to get Angie, you’re in great hands!
