Lodi Chinatown Gourmet Kitchen — Restaurant in Lodi

This was sincerely in the top 3 best Chinese places I’ve been to in NJ. And I eat at A LOT of Asian restaurants and have very particular tastes.

None of the food was greasy or tasted unnatural. The sesame chicken was soft inside and perfectly saucy, but somehow still super crispy on the outside even after being in a to go container! No other takeout place in years has given me still crispy chicken like that. The boneless ribs, my favorite dish to order, were the PERFECT flavor, soft and tender, with crispy caramelized edges. The lo mein has fantastic flavor and thicker noodles and the most perfect sauce consistency, not dry and not slimy, just absolutely perfect. The fried rice is simple and great. The egg roll, was absolutely fantastic! Crispy and the best tasting inside, not greasy at all.

It’s strange how all of these dishes can taste so drastically different from place to place, and I’m lucky to find a single favorite dish at each place. Here, all 4 dishes I got were exactly how I like them. I wish I lived in this town so I could eat here...

Well my review is bad aftr having bad experience for three different times. First time i buy seafood and was two orders but only one small rice i wasn't mad even i know i paid for something and didn't get it . 2nd time same problem and i spoke with the lady about it she tried to convince me they gave me large size insted of giving me two small rice "lier" . My 2nd experience is when i was ordering three large seafood so i asked if i can change the rice with soda and she answerd me very rude way and said no . And the last time that made me walk away from the store is when i made my order and I'm ready to pay that short guy work with her started talking Chinese and pointed at me one of the words was in English and was saying only seafood. I'm free to buy whatever i want and yes i only buy seafood ONLY. Look how long they have the chicken out and the oil color it's disgusting. What kind of customer service is this ? Very rude and not proftional at all. I took my bussnise somewhere else and will never go back to...

BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE! This place is involved in fraud, I recently placed a 25 dollar order. And was told by the woman that my card had declined. I knew I had well over enough money on the credit card to pay it. So me trying to get out of there I paid the woman cash. Later on I checked my acct and sure enough it infact went through. I called and told them about it and she said wait 3 days to see if it’s still on my statement. When I went back to tell them i need my money back because they charged me. She pretended to not remember that I paid her cash and pulled out a receipt with the transaction on it with a fake signature. Which means they deliberately frauded me by telling me it was initially declined. Beware of this place and if they tell you your transaction was declined ask to see the receipt like I...
