On 12/7/2019 @ 11:30-11:45AM, we were checking out our groceries from Aldi location: 4 Memorial Drive Lodi, NJ. When the cashier Milena informed me that I was not able to take more than 6 avocados. I asked her, is there a sign that says that because there was absolutely no sign throughout the store that indicated limit of 6 on the items. Her response was ā€œthere’s a limitā€ I told her well there should be signs. Sje looked behind her to receive confirmation from the manager on shift and he confirmed that it cannot be more than 6. She continued to ring up my groceries and stopped again at my vegan patties and said I could only take 6 as well as my black beans, that I’m only allowed to take 6. I asked her is there anything else? Milena response was that I cannot take more than 6 of any items because Aldi found that people were buying things in bulk and it is not a bulk storeā€,my husband then asked if this was all of Aldi locations? Milenas response was that it has been going on for some time at that location. My husband and I could not believe it because we were just at the Lodi Nj location a few weeks ago and there was no limit on the items and we always buy beans as well as other items more than 6. This is absolutely ridiculous and poor business management because you rather lose money than gain more profit and do your job as a manager to ensure your store is stocked properly with the appropriate inventory. Then to top it off my husband and I are approached by another Aldi employee that says with a very unprofessional nasty attitude ā€œyou’re taking all of our food and are going to leave us without food.ā€ My husband responded, it’s not my responsibility to leave Aldi with food, it’s Aldi’s responsibility to ensure they are stocked. We have been loyal customers to Aldi’s particularly this location in LodiNJ, for majority of 2019. We grocery shop at this location 3 weeks out of everything month and spend an average of $1500 per month on groceries. That’s almost 20K invested in Aldi. We have a very large family and always always buy a lot of many items because we have 8 children to feed. We are full time career professionals that shouldn’t have to worry about going to Aldi in Lodi or anywhere and be limited on how much food we should provide to our family and furthermore be worried about being harassed by staff and criticizing how much food we buy with our hard earned money. Since my husband and I just could not believe how ridiculous it was that a business would want to lose money we decided to visit two other Aldi locations for confirmation. We then went to the Aldi located at 496 Main Street Hackensack Nj. I purchased 8 black beans and a few other items. When I arrived at the register I asked the cashier if there was a limit as to how many items I could buy. She stated no. So I proceeded with my 8 cans of black beans and it was a successful purchase. We then went to an Aldi in New York City. Nothing was purchased however confirmation was provided. This location also reported that there was no limit on how many items could be bought. I asked can I purchase more than 6? The cashier at the East River plaza location reported yes I can buy more than 6. Upon findings of our investigation, we will no longer give our money to Aldi. We are taking our money to Whole Foods which is 15 minutes away from the Lodi location. If you can’t handle the demands of a business then don’t be a manager but most of all don’t take it out on your customers. Aldi definitely lost 20k with just our family, imagine all the other customers they have or will continue to lose because of the limit on ALL items. That’s not a smart run business, it’s poorly run and a direct reflection of the managers level of intelligence and skills. The pictures I’m posting is the Lodi location, their receipt to show 6 of black beans and another receipt at another Aldi location to show 8. Additionally, I will be reporting this to the new media, cause it is absolutely ridiculous that customers are being punished for poor management.

ALDI is a fantastic choice for shoppers looking to get high-quality products at competitive prices. Known for its efficient layout and no-frills shopping experience, ALDI excels in delivering value without compromising on quality. The store offers a wide range of products, from fresh produce and meats to pantry staples and household essentials. Their private-label brands often match or exceed the quality of name brands, making budget-friendly shopping easy. One of the best aspects of ALDI is their ever-changing selection of seasonal items and weekly specials. This makes each visit exciting, as you never know what new finds you'll discover. The store is always clean and well-organized, ensuring a pleasant shopping experience. The staff are friendly, efficient, and always willing to help. While ALDI’s streamlined approach means fewer options than larger supermarkets, it also means quicker shopping trips and fewer impulse buys, which is a win in my book. The checkout process is fast, but be prepared to bag your groceries yourself—a small trade-off for their low prices. Overall, ALDI provides excellent value, quality products, and a straightforward shopping experience, making it a top choice for budget-conscious shoppers.

Some of the price little bit higher than other places. Annoying carts , you got ro out quarter in it to use it.... Not a big choice of products.... What i like: - Big parking lot - Good product quality What i dont like - you have to have quoter to use the cart ( some people jist hate the change and dont have it) - Not great choice of products - Always long line on the register

Love this location. Clean environment and it's hard to beat their prices. Highly recommend! I'm a regular customer and it's always impressive to see the staff smiling

😃 Stopped in today, a noticeable price hike on many products. Knew this coming, Aldi's is still one of the lower priced stores in my area. Always clean and the staff is very friendly. šŸ˜ŽšŸ‘

Another visit to the Lodi,NJ location, the place is clean, still has competitive prices and as always, the ALDI were helpful and professional. Still highly recommend this location.

Stopped in to get a few items, lots of price reductions since last visit. Was very busy today, as usual, the staff was fast, efficient and helpful. Love this location.

Went shopping here today, despite all the price increases we see a shoppers (no matter what store) ALDI still has one of the lowest in the neighborhood. Checkout staff was extremely fast, friendly and efficient.

Visited the Lodi location again and was not disappointed. Prices are very competitive still. A very clean location, as always. The checkout line was extremely fast, efficient and the rep was very pleasant. I love highly recommend this location.

Stopped in again to pick-up a few items and the staff once again was friendly and helpful. As always, everything was reasonably priced. The Lodi location rearranged the isles since the last time I visited, but still very easy to navigate and find items, except the refried beans. A staff member was friendly and made it extremely...
