My son and I love this little hidden gem in Loganville. All of the equipment is just the right size for early walkers to 4 year olds. The sides are also closed so the kids can’t fall out of the equipment, unlike some of the larger playgrounds that just have bars. However, I do have a complaint about the excessive amount of concrete walkways that serve absolutely no purpose. Every time we are there my somebody trips on the edge and falls onto the rough concrete- which is a big deal for little kids who aren’t very good at catching themselves yet. The second complaint is the bench on the (entering the park) far right. If you’re child is like mine, they love climbing up on the benches as well- except, the back has a gap in it just high enough that a toddler falls through easily, and right behind where they will fall through is the edge of the concrete walkway. We were at the park one day where two different kids did just that. Fortunately there were no serious injuries other...
Read moreI’m all for a toddler focused space AND huge kudos for the fence. But this park is in serious need of a design overhaul. The existing play equipment while sparse is sturdy. The biggest issue is there are random cement paths taking up valuable space that could be astroturf or a sand pit. Also there are unnecessary sharp corners to the cement and so many uneven surfaces. Everything is sand and compacted so it’s really not pleasing or safe for early walkers. There are some benches with shade, but a little improvements could go a long way. Random sad bushes aren’t serving any purpose. Some shade trees, pour in place rubber pathways and at least one other piece...
Read moreIt's a great little park with lots of seating for adults. There's not a lot of playground equipment, but what is there is very toddler friendly. The gate closes with a latch, which is great for letting little ones wander and explore inside the fence. There's a fair bit of open room to just play. Only real downside is I didn't see any restrooms or place to get water. There's a couple local businesses nearby, but anyone with a toddler knows the fight 'leaving' the park to get to...
