Taylor’s Cigar Lounge — Attraction in Long Beach

HORRIBLE, nothing I see here is better by a long shot from what I can get from Bo'S Cigar lounge or any liquor store. This is not a plug. I went in on a Thurday afternoon, the cashier is not only treating your attention as worthless but is also not helpful on the phone. I called ahead and only found out over the phone that I was not ALLOWED in the lounge unless I spent more than $10 on their cigars. They have 10.branda of cigars that are under $10. For the record their cheapest shelF cigar is $6.25, you do the math. You can't spent with a card unless you're paying $5. Idk where the F they were selling their drinks (glass of water or cocktail) but it certainly was not at the counter. Don't come here because the staff (1 person) won't pay attention to you,won't accommodate let alone give you a tour ( I had to suffer an awkward silence at the counter until I had to show myself around), and it's smaller than your backyard. I know all the etiquette (business and cigar aficionado etiquette). DON'T COME HERE. it's not only wOrth it but also a smear and disrespect to cigar lounges that I've been to. Email me please if you disagrees because I don't want any cigar smoker who respects them self or looking to start to give into not only a poorly run Lounge but a n offensive selection of cigars. Im still fairly new to CA, I'm from the east coast and JR Cigars used to be my go-to but I am so glad I found this place. Just became a member the other day and they just happened to have a members meeting that same night. They kindly extended the invitation to me so I bought some sticks and hung around to attend where I got to meet the owner and learn more about the lounge & what's to come. We all got an Oliva Serie V Melanio, drinks, & homemade food gratis for attending. Turns out it is much more than just a nice place to smoke & get some work done; it's an awesome group of people and the owner seems like a great dude who's highly involved and always making improvements in all fronts. The staff is awesome & very knowledgeable too. There's a diverse selection of sticks in the humidor at a wide price point & the members lounge is awesome but so is the non-members & outside section. You dont need to be a member to buy a cigar & smoke it there, but if you're looking for your own little oasis then I'd definitely reccomend getting the membership too. This is hands down my favorite place to buy tobacco. This place has the most amazing staff. I purchased my 2 pipes from here and they are always reasonably priced. They have a nice atmosphere and the environment is 5 star quality. I enjoy their tobacco blends for classic pipe smoking. I would recommend them in this order:

Creme Brulee' Cherry House Blend I. Q.

I will always travel to this establishment for their tobacco no matter how far I am. They are simply the best.

BONUS: Both times I went here and purchased my pipes, they were gracious enough to give me a couple pinches of tobacco (1 Oz) of any two tobaccos I wanted. They will even blend tobaccos for you....
