Where to I begin? The near 300 point jump on the SAT score? The individual attention my child receives? The warm relaxing atmosphere? The up to date information? My mind is flooded!! Our family has been involved with C2 for nearly 3 years and it's been an absolute pleasure. Navigating the SAT is confusing enough, doing it in a pandemic when the college board changes its mind about when and how the SAT is going to be offered at the drop of a hat is completely something different! C2 was there with us every step of the way. Our sons SAT was cancelled 3 times with little more than a week's notice and C2 went to bat for us making sure he'd be able to take it. He was thoroughly prepared with the most up to date questions. His tutors were warm welcoming and above all else QUALIFIED. With the 1,000's of options for students in terms of school choice and endless requirements not to mention scholarship and financial aid questions one might feel like they are swimming in uncharted and shark infested waters - but not the families who undertake to built a relationship with C2. We have a solid plan for school choice, a process in place for applications, and a schedule ready for our rec letters and essays. We truly feel we are in professional, capable hands every step of the way. Special shout out to Brittany and Suzanne - There just aren't words to express our gratitude for all you have done for our child and our family. ...
Read moreI agree with the recent review from another family as below as I had the same experience and feeling. This place is not professional. It felts like they cared more about selling more courses than actually helping the child. I was initially drawn to this place because of the high ratings on Google reviews, but the reality turned out to be completely different.
”The cancellation policy is especially lopsided: if you need to cancel within 24 hours, you’re charged. But if they cancel — sometimes just hours before a session — there’s no accountability. That kind of one-way policy feels unfair and unprofessional.
What’s more concerning is the lack of leadership consistency. Directors at the Gillette location seem to change frequently, and clients aren’t even informed when it happens. This constant turnover creates a real lack of continuity and undermines any sense of long-term support — which is particularly troubling if you’re looking for consistent, reliable high school counseling and planning.
I expected a more student-focused, professional experience. Unfortunately, what I’ve encountered instead is instability, inconsistent communication, and policies that don’t treat families with the same respect they...
Read moreAvoid this establishment. We invested $10k in a package, and while the facility initially seemed well-equipped with plenty of tutors, things quickly changed. When we were ready to begin this year, there were no tutors available for our child’s subject. Reaching them was nearly impossible calls went unanswered, leaving us no choice but to visit in person. Having paid in advance, we’re now stuck. When we asked for a refund, they informed us they could only return up to 70%.
Despite escalating our concerns, we faced constant delays. They promised a one-day response time, but three days passed before we had to follow up again. The whole experience has been incredibly frustrating.
The sessions we’ve attended were disappointing, with children mostly left on their own to complete homework, receiving minimal guidance. What initially seemed like a promising service has deteriorated, likely due to staff turnover, and is no longer worth considering.
We’re filing complaints with the state for breach of contract. In the meantime, I recommend looking into Foley Prep or similar...
