Whoever the worker named Alex that works there is is extremely unprofessional. I ordered a to go order but it wasn’t where the to go orders would go so I waited since I arrived a little early. Next thing I know this guy comes out and is like “wait why are you here, what did you get”. I proceed to say my name but I guess he didn’t hear me. Then looks at my bag that was placed over by the side not in a seeable spot and is like is this your name. I say yes that’s what I just said and he’s like we don’t put to go orders out in a rude demeanor. After, I asked the young woman sweeping for a cup, so she asks this guy Alex for a cup and he proceeds to hand an extremely dirty, literal crusted on food, to her to give to me. We both look at it and she goes to ask him for a new cup saying that cup is dirty. He looks at it and he’s like “oh really?” Proceeds to look at this disgusting cup and is like whatever it’s not inside and hands her another semi dirty cup. First off I don’t know why your keeping cups that dirty behind to the counter to give to customers and it’s very alarming about the sanitation of this location. And whoever the worker is that looks like he works the food line and handed the dirty cup, I believe his name is Alex, very unprofessional and shouldn’t be working and...
Read moreso i love panera, but this location is horrible. i have had multiple bad experiences. what i order never comes out correctly, even when no ingredients have been changed... somehow it still comes out missing an ingredient. everytime i have sat inside tables look dirty and unkept, also they close much earlier than the times given. for instance I arrived at 8:35pm tonight and upon walking in through two unlcoked doors i was turned away by a cocky sounding manager when they close at 9pm. i then had to regretfully tell the person walking in behind me that they are closed even though the door says 9pm closing. from someone who works in the restaurant industry this is extremely insulting. being a local, i have found myself going to anything else in the area other than this panera. which is disappointing to me because i enjoy paneras offerings. online, i see all the time that this location is constantly always looking for a manager or people to work there. that initially is a sign that something is not functioning correctly behind the scenes. i would love to see them get there ish together but i dont see that happening after 4-5 years of just flat out...
Read moreMy wife and I went to breakfast at Panera Bread in Gillette, NJ. Ordered two breakfast sandwiches. Both of us took a bite into the sandwich only to realize that both of us received the wrong orders. A woman, who was identified by our cashier as the person in charge, came over to our table to confirm that we had received the wrong sandwiches. She said that we would both get the correct sandwiches, and for us to continue eating the ones that we received since we had a bite into it. 30 minutes later, still waiting for our correct sandwiches, I decided to inquire at the counter. The store manager (this time) indicated that the person who told us that new sandwiches would be forthcoming, was not the actual store manager (possibly a Panera district manager). Furthermore, new sandwiches were NOT forthcoming. Why post a sign conveying Panera Bread's desire for customer satisfaction, when you do not follow up on it? After debating the point with the actual store manager, she reluctantly gave us the correct sandwiches, after a 45 minute wait. That is not customer satisfaction. ...
