Bar Cilento — Restaurant in Long Hill Township

08.30.25 Just home from Cilento's. Another great meal! Cilento's is not a Michelin-starred restaurant; it is a very popular local haunt, that serves very good food, at somewhat reasonable prices.

The food surpasses that one would expect at a local "watering hole."

10.18.24 while my original review still holds 100%, I thought it was noteworthy to mention that in the past 3 years, Cilento's has not increased their prices (at least on the main menu).

While other restaurants, even local diners (looking at you Stirling House), have taken undo advantage, and demonstrated excessive greed, Cilento's has not!

Kudos to Cilento's!

Go there, have a great meal, watch the game, even bring the kids!

Cilento's is a local bar, with a dining room.

The menu is very surprising for a "bar".

Much better selection, and certainly higher quality than one would expect at a "bar".

I think Cilento's should be considered more a restaurant with a nice bar, and great atmosphere for watching sports.

The staff is spectacular! They are very friendly and accommodating.

The food will surprise you!

Go for a great dinner, then stay around to socialize at the bar, if that is your thing.

We had a lovely lunch at Bar Cilento this Saturday (May 22, 2021) and we look forward to going back! The food was fresh and delicious but I must say that the service was what put our experience over the top! Everyone was incredibly nice and welcoming, offering us to sit anywhere we pleased. Our waitress, Jessica, was simply amazing! There were four of us in the party with plenty of special requests. Jessica was more than kind and very accommodating, asking the bar tender for help with our beer sample requests and even offering a wine sample. I relished the veggie sandwich that was served on incredibly scrumptious bread. My husband loved the grilled chicken sandwich that was also fresh and savory. The decor and atmosphere of this bar/ restaurant is uninteresting which is completely opposite to the food!! home made comfort food. I love rich creamy dishes. if you're like me you will love the appetizer pancake with crabmeat and wild mushroom....soooooo delicious!. Also had portobello mushrooms stuffed with arugala mozerella ...excellent. calamari with 2 dipping sauces was good but unmemorable. Stuffed after that, I still managed to have their homemade turtle cheesecake because I could not miss it no matter how full I was! Also worth mentioning are the drinks.
