Anchored here a few days ago (12/27/21) and it is beautiful. There are two anchorage areas. One has some semi permanent boats and is a bit more protected. The other is between the cable area and the sandbar that everyone plays at. We chose the latter. It does get a bit of roll from some of the boats going a bit fast, but it makes a great social and fun time.

Beautiful place to go boating and spend the weekend as long as you don't mind boaters being disrespectful and/or uneducated as to boating safety and wake laws and endangering the wildlife and other boaters. Use extreme caution when boating around this beautiful natural paradise.

Nice sandbar located right off Coquina beach and close to waterfront restaurants like Mar Vista. Fun time, but can get packed for sure, the currents can get pretty strong here as well, so be sure to anchor in tight and it wouldn't hurt to bring along a 2nd anchor as well.

Nice place to stop at while boating. Sandbar is great for children to play in the sand and to swim in somewhat shallow water. We went during the week so it wasn't overcrowded. Be aware of the minimum wake zone for safety of others and marine life. We did see a few dolphins near here as we were leaving and still...
