The owner quoted me a price for four unmarked placemats, but when I went to pay, she spent five minutes chatting with two other women, completely ignoring me. When she finally rang up my purchase, the total was higher than the price she had originally quoted. When I pointed this out, she casually responded, "Well, I was probably busy and wasn't thinking. The actual price is what I rang up."
