Worst waitress ever. I wouldn’t even want to give this one star. Our waitress was extremely rude from the beginning, messed up 3 of our orders and did not apologize. Part of the breakfast I ordered was a fruit cup and side of home fries. She said the restaurant was out of home fries 10 minutes after I ordered (what restaurant runs out of home fries on a Sunday brunch…). Then the fruit cup did not come despite me asking our waitress 3 times. After we were all done with our food, we asked AGAIN, and she then (annoyingly and rudely) said “the kitchen is chopping up more fruit it’ll be right out.” She then proceeded to give the three tables next to us fresh fruit cups, but I was still waiting for mine. We paid the bill because at this point it’s obvious this waitress is suffering from some anger issue, and asked if the fruit could be taken off the bill, which she refused to do. We then went inside to see if we could get a fruit cup to go. She rudely said there was no fruit left, even though they had served every other table. She was SO incredibly rude and did not once apologize for any of her mistakes. The food that we did get was also AWFUL. Do NOT come here. The food and the rude waitstaff are unbearable. We go down to LBK every year and wondered why we had never tried this 4.5 star restaurant. I prefer not leaving a bad review, but hopefully the owners will see this and make some adjustments and people looking to go to a good local restaurant will be forewarned. However, worst breakfast ever! The veggie’s in my omelette were uncooked (nothing worse than raw onions and raw green peppers), which gave me indigestion later on & the eggs were overcooked. My wife’s home fries tasted like they were cooked two days ago and warmed over. Her omelette was basically like mine; overcooked eggs, undercooked mushrooms, spinach and dried out overcooked bacon. It was like they put the eggs on then put in the raw veggie’s as an afterthought. The toast tasted like it was delivered four days ago. The granddaughter asked for a humongous thick pancake; it was overcooked, thin and not humongous. The coffee tasted like bland warmed over black water, no flavor. Service was not friendly. I would give this place no stars, but there is no option for that. Our waitress was THE rudest waitress we have ever had. It was absolutely egregious. I’ve never had an issue with a waitress, and like to think I’m a fun loving nice person. We had to remind our waitress countless times when she forgot items and whenever we reminded her, she was rude and snarled at us and threw her hands in the air as if to say we were bothering her. After kindly reminding our waitress 3 times for fruit that we had ordered and home fries we had ordered, she finally told us the restaurant was out of those items. Meanwhile, every other table was receiving home fries and fruit around us. She was clearly being spiteful at this point. We then asked her to remove those items from the bill, she claimed she did. But then we realized after the fact that she had lied, because those items were included in the combo breakfasts we had ordered.
