Numiru — Attraction in Longwood

Selection, stock, and prices are unmatched in central florida. The people at the counter were shy and didn't seem keen on conversation. As a new customer it made the experience a little bit awkward considering how small the store is, but they did their job well and I will be back 100% to support this small business. I also liked their points incentive system, free gifts, and limit on popular/frequently scalped items. Having pokemon selection in a high traffic area made searching through items a bit cramped, especially with multiple guests in the store. Singles can be hit or miss on prices. Vintage selection of sealed and singles is a bit low. As a vintage collector I would love to see more stock! All sealed product is the best you will find at retail, besides 151 which was 2x MSRP. Edit: Went in a second time and the owners were at the counter this time! They are both such a delight to chat with and you can tell the store is a labor of love. The back wall is lined with ETBs and prices are always under what you will find...

I remember when they first opened, and compared to back then they have come so far and have easily become one of the best card shops in the area. Product availability is awesome. I love all the kits they have as well as a wide variety of plushies and figures They’ve consistently had the new One Piece and Pokemon cards in stock on a regular basis. Lot’s of snacks and beverage options and tables to play at if you want to hang out. Feels very community focused. They don’t give in to the scalper/reseller BS with prices which I genuinely respect the heck out of. They’re the ONLY place I come to for cards anymore. Feels like the only shop left in a 50 mile radius that actually cares about their customers ever since Surging Sparks happened. This is the only shop in Longwood/Casselbery/Altamonte worth coming. Me and boys love to collect pokemon cards and anything nerdy and fun and we were looking for local stores that stocked older pokemon expansion packs and we found Numiru. I have to say that I was impressed the moment I walked into store and saw their wall of such an awesome selection of pokemon booster sets, trainer elite boxes and other awesome pokemon merchandise. Along with pokemon they had a bunch of other themed card games, funko pops, board games, fun drinks, snacks, comics, books and other cool stuff. The atmosphere of the store was great and the customer service amazing, kind and exceeded my expectations. My boys did not want to leave the store to say the least. I really hope this gem in Longwood stays open for many years to come and wish them the best success and future expansion...
