Sad to say, this was not such a great experience for a 16 month old child. Yes, there are a variety of toys to play with and my grandson did enjoy several play areas, but there are quite a few safety hazards. The plastic “rock” climbing wall into a structure is slippery when a child has to wear socks. Once on the 2nd level, there was a big gap between the play structure and the wall. Enough so that I was frightened that my grandson could fall over in to the gap as he was looking over the edge and trying to climb over the side. One of the things my grandson liked on the “garage” space wall was a rubber band mechanism that is cute but rubber bands are a huge choking hazard and not really appropriate for young visitors. A little tea set in one of the kitchen areas was actually made of porcelain which is too fragile for little ones who could get hurt if any of the pieces break or chip. However the most frustrating issue was a 6 year old boy that kept hurling himself into the ball pit - too young to realize he could hurt my little one but mom was busy working the front desk (we were the only guests in the place…)and didn’t pay attention to him. Anything my little one wanted to play with, this child suddenly needed to use. I understand that much of his behavior was age appropriate but without any adult supervision (except for me), it was beyond irresponsible. Perhaps this play space should be geared to older children. I understand why they require you to sign a multi page waiver that you can’t read because it was given to me in the middle of my playtime with my grandson. In regards to your response: The woman at the desk did not tell me that ANY areas were unsafe or prohibited for my grandson. There were no posted warnings either. I would have avoided those areas that you describe as unsafe. I would have been happy to pay upon arrival if the set up had been safer for my little one, but I was busy attending to his well-being. You asked for payment quickly, but seemed to have forgotten to ask me to sign a waiver until we were almost finished in the playroom. You did not address the issue of the son of the attendant running amuck in all areas of the playroom that we were trying to enjoy. That in and of itself, should have been the biggest safety issue addressed. For the safety of your future guests, I am happy that I have been able to address my concerns in...

Read moreI must say that outside of a superb service and classes that are provided to kids at Alice Playroom, their Art and Wine classes are outstanding. Each time I go to the class, I have a wonderful time painting while sipping some marvelous wines paired with some super delicious snacks, fruit, candy and desserts. Nadezhda has always been an amazing instructor and whether you've painted before or not, she made it seem easy and fun. And all the paintings looked great! Can't wait to do...
