CAVA — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Food is great but service could be better in the pick up department. The attitude from one woman is unnecessary when i literally just needed to pick up my order. Me and 5-6 other people had been standing for 10+ mins without even a glance or check in about who’s order we’re picking up. My order was for 12:15 and i didn’t get it until 12:40. Spent my entire lunch waiting. Mind u. My order was ready. But it was just sitting there. I couldnt get it because its behind the counter and they were not acknowledging anyone waiting. She still never asked. Nor did the guy working pickup either. I had to force their attention when they were giving a doordasher their order. And then everyone else finally got their orders...

Ehhh I wasn't impressed by most of the food - but the service was fairly fast, very friendly & helpful. We got one of every savory side plus a side of chicken. I really didn't like the red pepper hummus (which was the main reason I was curious to try them)... My favorite items were the pita chips (AMAZING) & the honey harissa chicken. Our pickup order was incorrect when we checked it (missing an item), but they were happy & quick to fix. Napkin dispensers were all empty so we let them know. They were pretty busy but doing a good job keeping the line moving. The bowls being made on the line looked really nice! I'd be willing to try again with a composed bowl as I just tried all the sides & chicken...

Subject: Complaint About Poor Service

I’m writing to express my frustration with an order issue at this locatjon. I had to return due to missing items: pita, hummus, and a build-your-own pita. Instead of resolving the problem, the staff made me feel undervalued and argumentative. No one apologized or offered to make it right.

As a healthcare worker, I understand mistakes happen, but this experience was unacceptable and far below the standards I’ve seen at other CAVA locations. I expect better. If customer service is something you appreciate avoid this store.
