There was no face cradle or pillow to lift the head, so I had to put my face in the table hole and it was so uncomfortable for my husband and I. When we asked for something, they just gave a towel that was just folded around the hole, but that was uncomfortable too. There should be something to cradle the face like a pillow. Worst experience ever.
*This was booked for us by my partner a few weeks back. We paid in cash at the front to a man. And yes, this is the massage place that we got the couples massage at. So no, I’m not lying. When we asked for something other than a towel, we were told there wasn’t anything else. Please take heed to this review. We paid a good amount, including a good tip. We would have liked a comfortable experience. If the masseuse was lying about the availability of a pillow, then that’s a bummer because the hole in the table is such an uncomfortable experience. The cost of the massage was requested before entering the massage room, so there’s no guarantee we would’ve been refunded if we decided to not continue with...
Read moreI am the world’s fool for ever trying out a different massage place because Ancient Thai…. let me tell you that Ancient Thai NEVER lets me down. not once. I walk in miserable, tense, and in pain, but I walk out relaxed, free, and glowing. prices are extremely reasonable, employees are friendly and of course, have hands blessed by ALL the Gods in our realm.
I have had crippling neck and shoulder pain for days. can’t even turn my head, it’s been awful. I went to two, TWO!!! different massage places and they were not receptive to what I needed at all despite my constant pleas for help. I knew exactly what to do: return home to my beloved, Ancient Thai. this morning in particular, an incredibly skilled woman named Som took me to heaven herself using techniques I have never experienced before. I love her. God bless her. May she always be safe, happy, and have positive experiences. I will only ever go to her from now on.
SEE YOU SOON. THANK YOU....
Read moreLet's start with it's hard to find a good message in LA that isn't $300 or at some shady spot...well from the outside this looked questionable but the areas builds aren't well kept, that said when you walk in it's nice atmosphere and friendly faces. I've never had a Thai deep tissue before and I was in for a treat! They start by washing you with a warm cloth while you lay face down, then she started with light pressure( I'm a big guy so I was getting worried she wouldn't have enough strength, oh boy I was wrong) she asked if she could walk on my back, YES PLEASE! without describing everything I will say if your not comfortable with someone on the table with you it might make you uncomfortable. Also I was a message therapist and so is my father, this is the 1st time I felt taken care of by a therapist I didn't know. I will be going back on the regular and I recommend other go. Parking is hard to...
