Ascot Branch Library — Attraction in Los Angeles

THE LIBRARY OPENS AT 12PM TODAY!

Yesterday Ascot Branch Library was closed instead of opening at 12pm they opened at 2pm they could've easily updated their operating hours on google to save people from waiting at the front for two hours. I was told it was because of a staff shortage in staff, but I saw three staff inside.

They did the same thing today as well instead of updating their operating hours on google they placed a piece of paper stating that instead of opening up at 9:30am they open up at 12pm. With a piece of paper stating “because of a shortage in staff”, But I just saw a male staff member walk to the front door which is locked to throw the paper sign in the bin and place an exact copy in the exact same place on the front...

TERRIBLE Library 😵 One of my children got excited at being at this library for the very first time and the VERY MEAN/ RUDE Branch manager Ms Frances Jaffe came storming to us saying that she wanted it to be quiet in "HER" Library..

THis woman was ridiculous and had no respect for my black/ miXed family. I will make a complaint to corporate especially due to this being the ONLY library less than a mile from our new home location.

It's NOT FARE that people like Ms Jaffe, are the ones with these titles in these companys/corporations instead of someone with unsound mind & spirit. A person whose friendly and not rude especially toward children in their setting. SHame on her & the person that hired her.

My printer broke so I had to run to find a printer asap, the first library I visited was no help so I decided to travel here. First time visiting this library, which is very clean and tranquil. Thank you to the sweet lady librarians who guided me through using their printers and helped me reset my pin. I appreciated their patience, and I am grateful they never made me feel uncomfortable (as I have social anxiety). I had no idea printing was free (with a library card). I will definitely...
