4 Star Motel — Hotel in Los Angeles

Great value if you're on a budget! The owners were so very friendly and helpful. I had wanted to get two teas from their vending machine which only takes dollar bills and I just quarters and when I went to ask if I could change out my quarters for dollars at the window, bless her heart the hotelier just gave me two dollars and said its okay. Well the machine wasn't accepting the dollars either so I figured I'd better give her money back she said to hold on and she had her husband go and plug it in for me...I didn't know it was unplugged but I thought they were just so very hospitable!

The room was okay aside from a soft spot in the floor just near the bathroom im guessing from the shower which was okay it had sufficient pressure and got hot pretty quick. The fridge worked well it only took a short time for the teas from the machine to get...

The motel room I stayed (July 29 - August 5) in was excellent compared to what I was told by some people in the area which means they improved over time. Management was good with it's service and hospitality. Cleaning staff was on point, helpful, and kind as well. What made it only two stars was the security was smothering. I knew what was in the area ( I'm used to it being from Miami) before I booked the motel and I attended on having a couple of ladies coming to my room. But, the manager gave me grief about walking up with hookers. I did managed to get one to the room 2 nights before I left. As a single man, this would not be the idea place to stay. It's made for families and low key people who look like they like...

The the name does not reflect the rating. Price is cheap yes but you get what you pay for in this case. Funny smell in room. I think it’s a floral cleaner and curry fragrance. When room was recently painted bright orange and yellow they didn’t bother to remove switch plates etc so they are white and orange. Green drapes with blue bedding with orange walls. Cabinet under sink is missing entirely. Furnishings look like goodwill rejects Walls and ceiling obviously patched but somebody forgot to texture and paint the patches to match the walls. If I had time I would find another place to stay Definitely...
