I should have read reviews before I booked this place for a work trip. Just like others have stated, once you pay they don’t care about fixing anything (in a timely manner) and customer service is horrible.
We’ll see if I change my mind if anything gets better. 1 star is for location and easy access to stores.
After 2 weeks we do not have a key fob to access our parking garage. No key to get our mail. The first week we could only gain access to our apartment if someone else was walking in the door. To walk our dog we had to put a rock to keep the door open so we could get back in. A week later they gave us the previous tenants name to log in the directory that automatically opened the door.
We were told washer and dryer would be in our unit. Well it is, in a bedroom closet and not hooked up. The place where it’s supposed to be is empty with the hook ups available. So the second, smaller bedroom has minimal space to hang close and no drawers to place close.
The sheets that were on my bed were left from previous owner/renter. Mine looked like someone fell asleep with highlighter pens. At least my roommate had a pretty pair but definitely not new. We did get maid service to bring in new clean sheets.
Blueground purchased a wardrobe rack that was delivered, but do we have any tools to assemble it?!? No!
A maintenance man showed up after 4 days, he was great and put it together. He couldn’t believe the washer dryer situation and said he’d at least have someone come to our apartment and move it out of the closet. Never seen him or heard from him again.
Today,2 weeks and 2 days out, we were told new mail key and fob would be left on our kitchen table. I received an email 3 hours after they were supposed to be delivered that “unfortunately we can’t find a fob and they would have to make a new key”. So we still have no access to park the car, use the pool, get our mail, we need a laundry service (they said they will reimburse for this) I will believe nothing until something changes.
And mind you every time I’m on the phone with a representative (that takes at least a hour, they say someone will get back to me by the end of the day. Never has this happened. I do get email replies within a few days. I’ve had to pay an assistant to follow up with this because it’s a work trip, and you only have access to a live person during working hours.
This has made our trip so chaotic that I would never recommend this overly priced...
Read moreMy first experience with blue ground in the Bay Area was wonderful however using blue ground in Los Angeles has been a nightmare. The 900 S. Vermont bldg. has ride security who refused to allow my family to help me with groceries and threatened to call the cops on him for asking for assistance in reaching me while it was pouring raining. It so happens that my family member is a young black male. Meanwhile everyone else is asked to sign in to gain entry. I complained to the company who initially told me they were unable to get In touch with management. Then I was told management would get in touch with me and I'm still waiting.
Then there is the issue of mail and packages. The bldg. did not provide any access to the locker where my packages set for weeks, packages that held my medication which I get delivered. I contact customer service who once again said they could not get in contact with anyone but encouraged me yo reach out during the hours of 8-6pm. There is never any management, there is barely a leasing office. Completely frustrated with the bldg. but Im Especially frustrated with blue ground for saying this is a luxury bldg. charging 5k and $1500 security deposit. I'm also upset because I've yet to receive my secure deposit from my stay in the Bay Area.
Save yourself some trouble, headache, and frustration. There are plenty of other companies that offer corporate housing and you should refer to them because blue ground doesn't offer a luxury experience and it seems that they partner with businesses who don't take discrimination and unlawful police threats seriously. I read several poor reviews before using them and I wish I would have taken heed to other...
Read moreThis is a terrible company to work with. Mainly because of the false advertising. It presents itself as a luxury company, charging almost 50 percent of the rent as fees for items such as linens, in reality all the towels pillows and blankets smelled like sweat. From the first day of check in, where they provided the wrong instructions for move in, to the FOB that didn’t work, (so I had to wait outside for 45 mins till someone in the building could let me in). I tried their emergency number no one ever replied or answer the phone, or called back. They charged for parking but the building didn’t allow it without proper permit. So there I was in my car with my suitcases wondering how this is so wrong. The parking entrance to the building smells like urine, so they spray perfume heavily thinking it can cover the smell, it doesn’t. The couch had questionable spots/stains, and all the supplies provided were paper thin and poor quality. I know it’s not within their control but I was followed by a homeless person as the unit I had is very close to skid row. After begging for repair and pleading for relocation, Blueground wants me to pay another 1100 dollars in order to get to a safer location. The customer experience team is very good in replying apologetically promising repairs and replacements, but in the 10 days I was there no one came. Avoid this company at all cost....
