Update: went back for my younger son's birthday and did the rage room and the axe throwing. The rage room was fun but it was slim pickings on what to smash. The kids that helped us tried really hard to help us find stuff but they were almost out of everything. I really don't feel like I got my money's worth when it came to the rage room. BUT THE AXE THROWING! That is definitely where the simple fun is. We placed bets, played games, did tricks, all while safely in our own space. It was so much fun trying to figure out the trick to this sport. Overall, we had a great time. Waaaaayyyy better the second time.
Went here for my son's birthday. It wasn't difficult to find at all but parking was a little difficult. On Google maps it shows the location next to a parking lot but there was no parking lot (but I'm visually impaired so maybe I just couldn't see it). So ended up parking down the street on the street which was no big deal except this location is a bit unsavory. Now the actual Break Room... The door sits back off of the street and seemed very small but when you open the door it's a totally different experience than what's going on outside. It was very organized and "clean" (as much as it could be given the type of business). I chose to do the paint room because we had other things to do that day and I feared doing anything else would have been exhausting. I was a tad bit disappointed by the paint room. Almost everything that was staged in the was broken. There was not a surface that was not covered in paint so we couldn't even so our own "art". It was pretty boring and over very quickly. What I did like about the Breakroom is that they provide all necessary cover ups, including: goggles, shoe covers, pancho's, you get to choose your water based paint (which washed off VERY easily) and a large tote to keep your personal belongings in while you're in the room (and the tote stays in the room with you the whole time.)
I would definitely recommend this place to a friend but I would most likely advise them against the paint room. I can't wait to go back and try the axe throwing. I also forgot to mention the entire staff was very polite, professional and helpful. They really made the experience enjoyable...

Read moreBreak Room LA was nothing what I expected and was actually very disappointing, in my opinion. I expected a room that would have a variety of items to break. Instead, you get a small crate that literally has mugs and glasses that look like they were purchased at the 99 cent store. You also get a bat and some crowbars to use to break everything. My husband and daughter went with me, and we were all done within 10 mins. I honestly do not think it was worth the $135 for us three. Such a rip-off! The staff weren’t very friendly and didn’t really explain things. We were kind of just given the crate and put into a room. The gear that you wear smells and the helmets were broken. We only did the rage room and not the other things they offered. I would most definitely not be returning. I can go buy 99 cent breakables and throw them in my backyard...
